Being a car restorer and builder myself, I would have to say Ian knows how to get it done but some of his methods are rather crude. I found it interesting how he cut frame rails without measuring and then used maybe 2-3 measurements with a carpenter's tape and called that good enough for the alignment of the front suspension??? Hos repeated statement of "stronger than it needs to be" is a little suspect as well. For me it was fun to watch how others do stuff but more thought and precision is really needed. I have the other DVD with this guy and it is the same. I like that he uses whatever he has and repurposes.

A lot of practical information and tips on how to build custom cars from a master builder. Does not cover everything but it’s a great introduction to the "art" and engineering of custom builds.

It was a down to earth simple no over the top technical stuff that let a video explain in pictures and simple explanation what they were trying to achieve and how they went about it great viewing very entertaining
