Avet MXJ 6/4 MC Raptor Reels - Right-Handed - Silver

I haven't used the standard MXJ but, if you add the MC (mag cast) and two-speed option to the standard MXJ you are approaching very close to the price of the MXJ Raptor and you don't have the increased drag capability. I use mine with 65# Spectra and a 40# mono top. It is an amazingly powerful little reel. I love throwing an iron jig or leadhead jig using a Shimano Teramar TMC80H.I also use it on an older Fenwick 729C again with the 65# Spectra and 40# topshot.Both are great for Yellowtail, yellowfin, WSB, barries and just about any medium to larger size fish.
