J.Crew Mercantile Women's Classic-Wool Cocoon Coat

I've only worn once and have received so many compliments- even from strangers. It fits well and goes well with everything. Great winter coat

This coat fits exactly as expected! Great quality and I love Amazon for the great price.

This is a great simple jacket but you should know it is NOT the same as the J.Crew Factory jackets or or the regular J.Crew jacket in the same silhouette. The zipper color does not blend in and the quality is inferior, scratchy-ish stiffer material and doesn’t seem as thick/plush. I don’t mind because I expected this, paying about half the price. I expect I’ll get 1-2 seasons out of this. I don’t regret buying but it’s just not as nice as my original one from J.Crew factory (which I’m sure is no where near the quality of the J.Crew one!).

Some reviewers dislike the golden zipper, but personally think that the zipper liner being a completely different shade of gray than the coat is a worse offense. Looks horrible. Coat returned.

This is not a flattering coat. It is very shoulder-padded and boxy. Returned.
