Really poor quality
Really poor quality, battery life barely lasted airport time and flight for a single trip, and the tracking itself was slow and inaccurate

Great kit, good battery life if you know how to use it
This model is also compatible with 3G signal, hence, it works in more countries than the small one (i.e. Tracki Mini). The app is intuitive and it has light sensor, in case your bag was opened whilst in transit, so you know the TSA / bag security guards went through your stuff. The battery life if ok if you know how to use it. For example, before your flight takes off you should open up the app and go to the setting to manually toggle "Track Every" to less frequent ones depending on your journey (e.g. the least frequent tracking is every 4 hours). Then once you arrive at the destination you can manually switch this to more frequent ones (e.g. the most frequent tracking is every 1 minute). The device will consume more battery if you set the device to track more frequently, i.e. every 1 minute, because it keeps searching for both GPS and mobile signals every 1 minute. On the other hand, the battery depletes slowly if it tracks less frequently. My only concern is once the battery is completely dead and no longer charges, this device might already discontinue. It's hard to find decent device like this on the market. Other alternatives are mainly Bluetooth-based trackers.

Does not work abroad
Pointless as it has zero roaming in the US

Buttons are bizarre.
It may be OK if only I could figure out the buttons. Good luck with “press lightly once..the blue light means..” Works reasonably in U K. Useless in Ghana despite coverage claims. Pondering returning it.

Very poor battery life
I had high hopes for this device. I used to use luggage trackers called Trakdot but they connected to the older 2G telephone network and stopping working as 2G services were discontinued in many countries. I was hoping to use Vodafone V-Bag Trackers as a replacement and ordered two devices. Unfortunately, one of the two did not work at all – when it arrived it would not charge and would not turn on. The other one did work and gave reasonably accurate location reports when in my house and garden. However, before using it for travel I tested the battery life with the device stationary at home. On each occasion the battery ran out and the device stopped functioning after it had been turned on for about 12 hours. This was starting with a full charge and using the default setting of tracking every 15 minutes. For comparison, my old Trakdot devices had a battery life of over a week which proved useful on one occasion when my bag was delayed by several days after not being loaded on a connecting flight. I think the short battery life of the Vodafone V-Bag Tracker I received makes it unsuitable for use as a luggage tracker and I’m returning both of the Trackers for a refund.

Awkward but works and having good battery life
I've seen a few reviews saying it won't even last 11 hours? So far mine has been over 10 hours and is still on 100%. Auto tracking defaults to off, but do you really need a minute by minute trail? When I want to know where it is I open the app and it refreshes. I've done this a couple dozen times and it's said "location by GSM, finding a more accurate location" and then found GPS... But it's still on 100%.Downsides it's kind of a clunky app and almost no docs. There's a beeper on it and a beep option that seems to do nothing. And it's 3G, by Vodafone - who are the first network to shut down 3G. *slow clap*. Thankfully I think the tracker still supports 2G which they're keeping for a while.

Quel gâchi
Le produit pourrait être un plus contre le vol de baggage mais l'application ne fonctionne pas pour la Suisse et ce n'est pas préciser.
