Sharp, but will they last?
I wanted USA made knives and these had good reviews and didn't cost an arm and a leg. They are very sharp, I purchased the black handles so they could go in the dishwasher. The problem is that they look very cheap. My husband is very skeptical. I feels like he could snap it into two. I told him I did read the reviews and these knives seem to hold up. They seem smaller then normal knives. I have small hands so it's not a big deal, but if you have big hands I think they would feel awkward. (Even tho I agree they look cheap) I hope I can prove him wrong. I will update my post if they break.

ok low cost knives
I wanted some new knives...but did not want ....made in china...I did not know of RADA made in usa..well these will NEVER be mistaken for Quality real chef's cutlery...almost toy like appearance..flimsyvery sharp, but too thin and too small for my man hands..wife can use them easily with the small grips..disappointed that the wood block as a set costs more than the knife set, and the block isn't matched for the included knives..most of the slots are way too big for the knives..I also bought the 6 steak knife set for the bottom slots..a ham knife, and a butcher knife..no room for a peeler either, for someone starting out ..a good deal, but my next cutlery purchase will be REAL chef;s knives.....I should have know, due to the price. Disappointed....

Strong and sharp!
These knives are the bomb! They may seem flimsy but they are not! They hold up to everything I have put them through. I owned only 3 knives from Rada (bought brand new at a flea market) before this and I loved them so much I looked to see what else Amazon had. Boy am I glad I did. After having a nice set of KitchenAid knives, the 2 sets just don't compare. It's like apples and oranges. Rada is a great company. I do put them in the dishwasher, which is why I bought the black handle ones, because I hate washing dishes. I did notice that they get those rust looking spots in the dishwasher but if you hand wash them it comes off. I also purchased the knife sharpener but I haven't needed to use it yet. I've had them about a year now. I would never go back to any other knife. I do have to say my husband was so funny when I told him I was buying these he said, "great now I gotta be careful cutting because they will slice your finger off. I never had to worry about that before." 🤦

Great set, Made in America. Sharp!
Excellent set for the price, and Made in America.. Caution they are VERY sharp, the wife already had 3 stitches.. so make sure you clean and put away immediately. Having them in sink is not a good idea..

Sharp but thin
Nice product. So much better than the knives I had. Knives are very SHARP. My wife and I have cut ourselves a few times already. My only complaint about these knives is that they are so thin. Maybe that's what helps make them so sharp. You don't want to use these knives for anything other than their intended purpose. It seems they could break/snap very easily if you're not careful. I accidentally struck one of the larger blades against my stainless kitchen sink. It bent the point of the knife with just one not very hard glancing blow. I flattened it out with a hammer.

Worth the money
Definitely worth the money. I remember my family having these in the house while growing up. Yes, the blades are thin. They are not best knives on the market but, in my opinion, they are the best knives for the money. I’ve had them for a couple months now and use them religiously. They are still very sharp. I did get the sharpener with it but I haven’t had to use it yet. The oak block is very sturdy and durable. The handles do lose their brightness after a dishwasher use but we just put them all in at the same time so they all lost that brightness at the same time. If you want good quality knives at an affordable price, search no further. I don’t think the cliche of “you get what you pay for” applies here. Well worth the money.

The knives are amazing quality
It is a really nice butcher block knife holder but it’s not exactly like the one pictured there are way more slots in it and not nearly enough knives to fill it But the knives are amazing quality so worth the money
