Essential for Metal Connectors
These nails work great in the Bostitch F21PL Framing nailer. If you are putting in metal connectors you need a box of these. Just be careful when you are using them though. You can do some serious damage to your nailer if you get one sideways and pull the trigger. Just don't get in a hurry and pay attention to what you are doing.

If you are nailing metal connectors, use the right nails
Metal connectors are quite useful when doing framing. Pounding in all the nails is a pain. So using a pnuematic nailer is really helpful. If your nailer will do this, then you'd be hard pressed to find better nails than these. They are specially hardened, so that if you miss the hole a bit, they will still go through. And they are available in thicker sizes than regular nails of this length (which is perfect for nailing a bracket to a 2" board without protruding from the back). They are heavily galvanized, so you would be hard pressed to find anything more rust resistant. Really, they have no down side.

High quality
These are of high quality even though they are costly. Very difficult item to find but necessary for siding applications. A no nonsense nail.

Perfect for Metal Connectors
I recently framed a 12'x21' backyard deck. With two support beams and 12" on-center joists, it was a lot of joist hangers and hurricane ties. These nails were perfect for my Bostitch F21PL framing nailer. After shooting probably 600 nails I only had two jams but they were easy to clear. Be sure to wear safety glasses because other than the usual hazards of power tools, every time you shoot these plastic collated nails little bits of plastic shrapnel fly in all directions.

Good nails, came undamaged
No complaints to speak of. All nails came unscathed. Have purchased other nails that came separated from the plastic collate, but the plastic is relatively thick on these, so they handle shipping without falling apart. These have an added benefit - If you happen to use it as face level, these are great at lightly spraying you with plastic shrapnel, which is good at teaching you not to be a mouth breather.

Right nails for metal connectors-
These are expensive- but proper. I had trouble finding these nails at local lumber yards- so I bought them online. I did use normal 21 degree 2" for a few metal connectors- but if you misfire the shot nail just flys airborne bent into a 'u' shape- whereas these metal connector nails are hearty- they will shoot right through the metal connector. These nails are the right tool for the job- dont skimp on costs by using normal nails.

Great for joist hangers
I bought these for installing joist hangers while rebuilding my detached garage. I needed nails that would work with my Bostitch nailer and wouldnt poke out the back side of the 2x4s I was attaching to.

Good nails
Nails worked good in new F21. Will purchase again if I cant find anything a little cheaper. Hard to find 21 deg. metal connector nails plastic colated.

Work perfectly with the appropriate Bostich Framing Nailer.
These nails worked perfectly with the Bostich F21PL Framing Nailer and the correct nose piece when I was installing joist hangers and other structural metal connectors. A huge time saver over hand nailing. I can't say how well they would work with other nailers.

Working, but not flawless, in Milwaukee M18 21 degree framing nailer
These strips fit into and fire out of the Milwaukee M18 21 degree framing nailer easily. Slide in securely, fire out smoothly. So far, no jams.BUT...the strips are a shade too long out of the box, so the initial strip has to have about 4 nails clipped away before the M18 standard magazine will seat them properly. Thereafter, each strip gets cut in half to push the previous strip along. The problem is the cut end of a strip doesn't align perfectly with the next strip end so there's always a couple mis-fires at the strip transition point. And, once cut, the strips themselves are prone to having a couple nails fall loose so pre-cutting the strips is looking for losses. For sheathing / sheet-good nailing it works better than hand nailing, but not flawless.
