Nova Fusion Color Care Shampoo (Fire Red)

I've been dying my hair red for a couple years - my ideal red is kind of a medium violet red. I have extremely oily hair which leaves me with no choice but to wash it everyday if I plan on leaving the house - meaning my hair usually fades in 2 weeks to a sad orange/copper color. I've tried washing my hair in ice cold water with special shampoo for colored hair and nothing would stop the fading. I decided it was finally time to get a color depositing shampoo and this is the first one I've tried. The shampoo itself is a dark red color. I've been using it since I dyed my hair about 2-3 weeks ago and my hair is still red - not orange. Sometimes I use the shampoo on its own, leave it in for about 5 minutes, then rinse and use conditioner. Sometimes I wash with my regular shampoo and add a pump of this to my conditioner. It has definitely been extending the life of my red which is great for me because I don't have to dye it as often. Unfortunately it does make my hair feel dry (so I just use a lot of biolage conditioner and it takes care of that). It does stain a bit on my hands but it's usually gone by the end of my shower and my scalp hasnt been pink. Definitely try it!

Love this stuff. I just dyed my hair red over blonde. It was at a salon, and yet if faded alot quicker than usual. MY hair turned very brassy. I tried this stuff. First, its not really a shampoo, just a dye. So you need to wash your hair first. And yes it does leave your hair a little dry. But that's only immediately after applying it. I make sure to condition for a very long time and use my best quality conditioner after I rinse it out. Cheap conditioner will not cut it. Once I wash and condition without applying the dye, my hair goes back to it's normal health and moisture afterwards. Overall, this gets 5 stars. It is way cheaper and easier than going to the salon every 4 weeks. I am so glad I found this.

I love this! At first I was a bit stumped since I'm so used to shampoos that lather and this one doesn't. So I just used my regular shampoo plus put a little of this one here and mix it in my hair so it can lather. My hair is great! I dyed my red hair and i'm so used it not lasting too long. With this shampoo, I always get asked if I recently dyed my hair again and I always so "nope"! It's great! I don't use it everytime, maybe once a week, and I find that it works great!

Arrived super fast. The next day. I bought a separate conditioner because it does dry your hair. I was perfect for adding some color to my red hair As red hair loses color fast so this helps a lot to retain color.

I've tried so many .. Very expensive, color enhancing shampoos and this one proved to be the best. I just ran out but I loved it while I had it. Every time I used it, someone would ask me if I re dyed my hair when I didn't which meant that it was a noticeable change from my fading dye. I love it over all. It does not sud up because there's little sulfates , so don't get scared ; it does the job !

Not sure if it is my hair color care routine of sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, warm water rinsing, dry shampoo..or combining this color depositing shampoo is what has kept my color fresh. Either way it doesn't hurt to try. My only complaint is that it leaves my ends dry and crispy.

Combined with color protecting shampoo and conditioner and washing my hair in cold water this product has helped maintain the red tones of my hair.

It works amazing it does what it says it does and locks in your hair color very good I really recommend it if you have red hair n take care of it!!.
