I bought this skirt for a beach trip, so that I would have something to cover my legs if I got very sunburned. I am 5'3" 180lb. The 1X fit me perfectly, and is a beautiful turquoise color. I love it. The first time I washed it, I followed the instructions to twist and bind the material so that it would have that signature "crinkle look". It took a long time to dry, but came out beautifully. The second time I washed it, I just hung it up on a hanger by the loops attached to the inside of the waist band. When it dried, it looked the same to me - very pretty - and dried in much less time.

This skirt has been around for years. at least 20, and when I ran across it, I was happy! When I got it, I was somewhat disappointed. It's very lightweight, and too sheer for my taste to go without some sort of under slip. I hate slips. I opted for an equally sheer pair of pants, ( works great. I'm 5' 4'' and the skirt is long enough to fit over the pants. I still like the pattern and color, though I was expecting a heavier sort of solid material. Kept it, and I really do love the wide elastic waist. nice!

What some reviewers didn't like about the skirt, is what I loved. I'm 5'1" tall and typically wear a size 18. I read the fitting recommendations and ordered the 2X. It fit perfectly, and I didn't have to wear it up to my boobs to not step on it. Wearing it at my waist, it reached my ankles so I could wear my comfy sandals instead of heels. I don't have a full length picture of it, but in this photo you can see, it didn't add too much bulk to the hips, which was good. I could have twisted it a bit more after I washed it, but it was still pretty and flowy. By the way, my exasperated look was not because of the skirt, but because my mother was forcing me to take a picture. Overall, the skirt was great for my vacation!

Love the bright colors but it does run small in waist but length is to ankles which is fine

Love the colors and patterns. Purchased it for a trip to Europe. When there, noticed my finger kept getting pulled in between threads when walking. Finally figured it out - the weft (left to right threads) of the fabric doesn't weave (top to bottom threads) with the warp threads, causing the warp threads to become disengaged. Can't cut them or the rest of the fabric will open up and fray. Return window closed by the time we returned stateside. Would like to have this resolved. Very unhappy and disappointed in the defective fabric.

My wife loves the light weight and she loves the color and u can't see thru it..

This skirt fits OK, and looks OK, but is too sheer for me. It appears to be cheaply made and will be going back as soon as I get around to it. Meh....
