first time juicer
I wanted a juicer in order to give my husband (who has AD) the benefits of various fruits. We had never done the juicer (other than oj) before so I did not want to spend a lot of money but still wanted a name brand. The juicer works pretty well but I would like to have less pulp as most of the pulp is still wet which tells me I am not getting all of the juice. The parts are not that easy to remove so it takes a little patience. Also, I found that pealing apples, pears and oranges works best. I remove the seeds as well so they don't accidentally get into the drink (which I found out by not doing this).I would recommend this product to first time juicers to see if it is indeed something they will enjoy and benefit from without too much expense. The machine seems pretty sturdy (but noisy). One thing I don't like is that you put the fruit in after you turn it on so if you are too slow putting in the pusher, fruit can go everywhere. You will have to get a knack to how to put the fruit into the machine.

Our first juicer - OK, but rather intricate assembly and involved cleanup
This was our first juicer purchase. The Juiceman Jr. seems to work fine. We've juiced carrots, bitter melon, spinach, apples, ... It is noisy. When trying to assemble it, it seems rather like a three-dimensional geometric puzzle. Cleanup is involved and takes a while, and you have to take care when handling sharp parts. Perhaps all juicers are like this. We found the process to be sufficiently awkward and time-consuming that the Juiceman Jr. has been relegated to a shelf in the pantry.

Disappointed
This product worked great, up until it broke. I am very disappointed in the way this Juiceman Juicer is made. I had the older model for over 10yrs and loved it even though it was loud. This newer model Juiceman has some kind of guide piece attached to the inside of the lid that broke off after 3wks. Without that one piece, which seems superfluous, the entire lid broke while juicing. I have no idea why that one guide piece was even attached. The older model didn't need one so why did they make a newer model with an extra piece of hardware? I will try and get a replacement lid but might end up buying the older model again.

Juiceman Jr
This is good for someone starting out juicing. I was juicing everyday and alot of it and it just doesn't hold up for me. I prefer a more expensive longer lasting one. But for starting out, it was very helpful. A little difficult to clean. It is just okay in my book. I probably won't get another (I've bought three of these and I am moving on)

My 2nd Juiceman Jr in 10 Years
This is worth the money I paid for it. Processes the fruit and veggies fast and the pulp is dry. I've been using it for about two weeks now; 2-3 times a day. I would give it a five-star if it weren't for the plastic fittings over the motor shaft; kind of a tight fit when it comes to removing the juicer blade bowl for cleaning. Few drops of barber oil helps considerably w/o soaking those particular fittings in hot water. Could turn out to be a model flaw in the long run. I hope not. These machines do work HaRd. Hey . . . $50 !?/?! Worth it for me.

Good juice but . . .
It wastes lots of the pulp part of whatever you put in (and I've had to cycle the pulp through twice to get more juice out that it didn't get the first time). It's also a lot of work to clean, so after having it two years, I gave it away. Not worth the cleaning effort and wasting so much of the fruit/veggies for the little bit of juice it extracts.

Good Product...
Got this for dad, he seems to like it, had some juice from it when I was there in May, tasted fine. Cleanup wasn't too bad either. Seems like a lot of work, but don't really drink a lot of juice personally.

This is money well spent
Lets just get my only concern out of the way before I tell you how I feel about this juicer. The concern I have, and I say concern because I have had this model for only a week so I don't know if it will be a problem yet or not, but the on/off button or in this case the on/1, 2 selection button seems flimsy I feel like it would easily break. But like I said I don't know if it will.I have owned a number of juicers in my day and this one is my favorite mostly because it works as well as the model I spent 300.00 for but this one is 60.00 and to top it off this one is quieter (as if a juicer could really be quiet.....lol)This is money well spent, for sure
