*** UPDATE 11/24/19. I’ve had these glasses since February, and I love them just as much as I did when I left the initial review. Not a single one has broken or chipped with regular use, including the dishwasher. Cannot recommend highly enough!!I have been a faithful Riedel user for more than a decade, but I grew tired of having to frequently replace them after breakage occurred. They are beautiful, but they just lack the durability to be a practical every day glass. I like to put my glasses in the dishwasher, and they would frequently crack if something else knocked into one. Also, they always came out cloudy after the dishwasher cycle. I read reviews on these glasses, which I had never heard of before. Several restauranteurs extolled the virtues of these glasses, calling them the perfect balance of form (they are still thin and elegant) and function (titanium in the crystal makes them noticeably more durable). Well folks, they were correct. I am so impressed with these glasses! The lip is very slightly thicker than a Riedel or Spiegleau, and I was pleased to find it as thin as it is. The glass overall is heavier than a Riedel - you can tell from holding it that it is sturdier. It feels wonderful in your hand and at your lip, and as a side perk, for whatever reason these come out from the dishwasher perfectly crystal clear - no cloudiness. This glass in particular is the perfect one if you just want one set - the size is appropriate for both reds and whites. The size of the glass was very important to me when I ordered, so I included a couple of photos in case anyone else wants to get an idea of the scale. I have petite hands, FYI. Overall, I can’t recommend this glass highly enough. I am a Schott Zweisel fan for life!

These glasses are fantastic. I use the burgundy for red or white -- glass snobs, just chill out -- and they are just great. I'll be honest, I'm not real fussy about glasses, but what works about these is they have a good size that feels right in your hand but isn't hard to drink out of if that makes any sense. But the biggest plus about these glasses is however they are made, they are really strong. I thought my wine guy was crazy first time he showed me these glasses and banged the side on his granite tasting counter. The advantage to this is these glasses are dishwasher safe. For me, the one thing I AM fussy about is having a really clean glass. And no matter how much hand washing I did, there were always spots and cloudiness. I sound like a commercial from the 70s about dishwasher additives I know. But it's always bothered me at home and when I go out that wine glasses are rarely crystal clean. Well this changes that. Our wine glasses go right in the dishwasher and come out spotless and unbroken. Don't get me wrong, these glasses aren't bullet proof and they can break. We've broken a couple dropping or jamming in the dishwasher too tight. At 10 bucks a stem, I don't mind and the benefit of super clean glasses far outweighs that. I still have my 40 bucks a stem big beautiful glasses, but you know what? They're dusty in my breakfront from lack of use!

This is my third batch of “buy 6 get 8 glasses” over the last 10 years. I love the weight, look and feel of these. They are not indestructible but more durable than other brands I’ve tried. I originally purchased them at Pier 1, but that’s not an option any longer. So glad to find them again on Amazon at a great price for Prime Day.

its the perfect size and interchangeablewater, beverage or wine

I purchased 2 sets of 6 of the Wine/Water glasses and 1 set of the Burgundy glasses. Within a week of purchasing and using these, one of the Wine/Water glasses broke while my husband was carefully hand washing it. So far, (after about 6 weeks) that is the only casualty, but I do not plan on putting these in the dishwasher since it couldn't handle gentle hand washing. I did use 6 of these for a wine tasting party, and after a few bottles, we all got a little clumsy. One girl accidentally turned around and bumped the wine glass into the stainless steel refrigerator door handle. While it made a loud 'clink', the glass is perfectly fine. Another girl actually dropped the glass (thankfully it was empty) and that one also if fine (though it dropped on carpet, it was still a pretty hard floor). When we were washing these the next day, one of the glasses fell into the sink (hard plastic) and is still in great condition, too!So, even though they haven't been exposed to extreme hardships, I am happy with how they are holding up and how beautiful they are! They are a little taller than your average wine glass, but I like them that way. They feel great to hold and also feel very delicate. I feel classy just drinking out of one alone and in my PJs :) The Burgundy glasses have a large bowl and are GREAT for your full-bodied varietals. Those are probably my favorite, but I like the fact that the 'Red Wine/Water' glasses are versatile. I removed a star because of the first one breaking so soon, so now I am not taking advantage of the fact that they are supposedly dishwasher safe or break resistant. I am still very careful with them and worried about more breaking.

The Schott Zwiesel Tritan glass makes for very nice and durable products. Definitely not high-end nor semi-fine glass however very well-made, pleasing clarity and feel, comfortable, sturdy and chip resistant, so the trade-off is worth it to us.

These are good glasses: clear, uniform shape and height, thin rim. The bases are not completely flat, but wobble is not significant. The shape is generous so they are very good for big French reds. At the price, I think they are hard to beat.

Durable and I love the shape. We have broken a few but they don’t shatter so just pick up the pieces and grab a new one. Not expensive but feel like it.

Great Wine Glasses for everyday or special occasion

Nice well-made glasses. Good shape for swirling the wine and aerating the wine. Will likely buy more of them.

El cristal es muy delgado y delicado para lavarlas.. pero son funcionales y bonitas, para personas que tienen cuidado con la cristaleria, definitivamente no son para personas descuidadas o se quedaran sin copas muy pronto.

I bought these glasses because I wanted elegant wine glassware without worrying about breaking them. The glass is thin and sturdy. I have not accidentally dropped any since I have purchased them so I can't attest to how break resistant they are. I only handwash my wine glasses, but in standard use none of them have chipped or cracked or broken. They came safely packaged and all glasses intact.These glasses were an investment that I am very pleased with. I would absolutely recommend them.
