I have this lightweight rug I keep in front of the fridge to help absorb the ice chunks that fall from the dispenser during use (tile floor gets slippery with water from melted ice). These strips are really strong! I put them down about a month ago and the rug hasn't moved at all. I even vacuum it several times a week. The rug is adhered very strongly to the tile underneath. I had the thought I should take a picture for my review and had to pull very hard to even get a small corner of the strips to pull up. I definitely recommend these strips.

Used on a small area rug and the rug grippers have held the rug securely in place. Easy to apply - peel off backing and place on rug corners. Couldn’t be simpler.

I recently redid my floors and pulled the carpet up and put down vinyl wood floors. I purchased an expensive rug but the colors weren’t right...so I got a much less expensive one that looked nicer. The problem was that the ends kept curling and when my kids ran on it, they would slip because the rug moved so easily. These rug grippers were one of the cheaper ones but work great! Super easy to apply and no more slipping rugs!

For me, it's money well spent. I can even clean the dog hair away from them, and they're grip is just like the first time I put them on the rugs.

I have a Gel-Pro Chef's Mat in front of my kitchen sink. It wasn't staying in place on my wood floors, and a few times I actually skidded on it. I thought this product would be an easy solution to this problem. The grippers were easy to apply, but I immediately noticed that the slight texture on the back of the mat made it difficult for the grippers to stay stuck on the back. I moved the grippers so they partly adhered to the smooth edge of the mat, and that seemed to help secure them. But within a few days, the mat started shifting out of place and the grippers became visible. It was difficult to remove the grippers from my wood floors, and there's a residue left behind. This product may work for a mat that has a backing that is completely smooth, but I feel like I wasted my money.

We have a rug my mother brought back from Turkey for us. We put it near a high traffic area and it was moving and curling at the corners almost immediately.After putting the Rug Grippers on the corners they haven't curled and the rug hasn't moved even an inch.

They pulled the backing off of my expensive rug and I could barely get them loose from the floor. I sent them back promptly. Not a fan at all
