FRABILL 3527 Fishing Equipment Nets & Traps

I would say look at all the positive reviews and know I couldn't add anything to them. If you need one get this one.

I've used two sizes of these nets for aquatic species pond and stream surveys over the past four years, primarily for catching amphibians and reptiles. These nets are basically the Toyota Corolla of nets, because while they might not have any fancy features, they do the job and don't let you down.The aluminum frame is lightweight, making it easy to hang from my field pack when not in use. It's also strong enough that I've been able to use it to stabilize myself while walking in streams and I used these nets to catch myself falling several times without the net bending. The mesh is also extremely tough, as I've managed to snag it on blackberry bushes countless times and have yet to tear it.In the same time, my field crew has broken several wood, steel, and carbon fiber framed nets, so this net is a great choice if you want something that will just work and take abuse in the field.

As fisher men we get deep in the weeds with options and techniques. I mean they making fishing rods for every option. If you want a basic good large bait net, this is the one. I've been using it for 6 months and no issues. Mostly to retrieve large baits from my bait pen. Although I wish I could catch more fish but that is not the nets fault, lol.

Heavy duty nets, but not what's pictured. What you'll get has the mesh embedded in a 1/2" diam aluminum frame and the "corners" in the front are actually rounded and have about a 2" radius. Mesh is VERY green and not as dark as in stock photo as of 9-22-16.

Works just fine, handle is just long enough. I wish the basket was a bit longer though...
