Stunning Quality Black Extra Long Metal Fiat Abarth Tyre Valve Dust Caps with gift box

I bought these and at first I was very happy with them. The logo was clear and bright and the extra long length was a nice touch. Fast forward to a few months later and the black started fading to a weird coppery color. I regularly check my tire pressure and at first had no trouble taking these on and off. Now after them being on the car for about 9 months they are suddenly corroded onto the valve stems and are impossible to remove. I even tried pliers since at this point I didn't care if I ruined the covers or not. Still can't get them off. Now I have to take my car to a shop and have the valve stems cut off, the tires dismounted and new valve stems installed. In short these $13.99 valve stem covers are going to cost me over $100 to get them off! My advice - - don't bother with these, you regret it. And just as a side note, since the Fiat Abarth does not come with a spare tire, but rather with a sealant/inflator kit, had I gotten a flat I would have been unable to even attempt using the kit since I couldn't get the covers off to get to the valve stem!

Wow, these are a terrible product if you were looking for something that lasts. BEWARE, if you do not apply silicon grease to the threads before screwing on, they will chemically weld themselves to your tire stems. These things corrode almost immediately upon contact with water and will not come off without a pair of vice grips, possibly damaging your wheels and/or tires. Also, the little logos will last maybe 6 weeks and then come off. Extremely disappointing product.

Poor quality. The black color wore off in 2 weeks. Now there gold flaky looking. Gonna trash them and get the set the dealer sells.

Decals came off after first car wash.
