PLEASE MAKE SHOES W ROLLBAR THAT ARE NOT UGLY!!
I broke my foot a couple years ago, and my orthopedist said to only wear these shoes. They are definitely supportive and comfy on my feet, but omgosh they are soooooo ugly. I just couldn't bring myself to give that 5th star just because of that. These replaced V1 in white (I avoided V2 like the plague since it was so widely panned). The black goes with more of my clothes than the white, but at least the white ones pass as tennis shoes. I look like I'm wearing granny shoes (maybe because I am).NB needs to make shoes with the Rollbar that are not ugly. My daughter suggested some glitter bling, but I'm afraid it will just look like I never got over a midlife crisis or something. I mean, I'm trying to preserve some dignity here...

Best Walking Shoe I've Found
I've tried other brands and other New Balance styles and this is the best walking shoe I have found. I like that I can add my own inserts and they fit true to size. I'm not going to claim to know about gait and stability and rolling this and that, but I walk every day, 2-3 miles, on cement sidewalks and with these shoes and my inserts (Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx) I don't have the hip and back pain I do with other shoes. When that pain starts to return, I know it's time for a new pair, and as soon as I put the new pair on, the pain is gone.

New Balance 928v3 vs Brooks Addiction Walker
Looking for a walking shoe for overpronation and orthotic friendly. After much research online, I ordered the Brooks Addiction Walker in a 8 1/2 C/D and this shoe, the New Balance 928v3 in an 8 c/d. This shoe is a great fit for me. I found the Brooks shoes (and also Asics shoes) to run smaller in size and width. The Brooks 8 1/2 C/D fit me, though it has a high arch support. I did not want that much support along with a 3/4 orthotic. Also, I thought the Brooks looked more utilitarian...pretty plain! I decided on the NB 928v3. (I am still wearing an old pair of 927s and also the 928. I find these models fit me the best.) I did have some problem with the shoe being loose in the heel, but I found online how to lace the shoe using the very top eyelet. That helped tighten the shoe around the ankle.

I have been buying this particular shoe at least twice ...
I have been buying this particular shoe at least twice a year for the past few years. I needed something supportive to address issues with plantar fasciitis. These shoes worked well for a long time. But, I noticed changes in the pair I bought previous to this purchase which are even more dramatic with this current pair. The tongue has gotten shorter. It is very hard to keep the laces tied over the tongue. The laces slip below. I'm not sure if it's a different manufacturer or if the original manufacturer is shaving a bit off here and there to save money, but these shoes no longer work for me. At close to $130.00 per pair, I was not expecting this kind of problem. I will not be buying these again. I'll head to my local shoe store to find what I need next time.

Even better than the 928v2 shoe!!
We buy these walking shoes for my Mom who has to wear a brace on her ankle and leg.The previous version 928v2 has been the only shoes she has been able to wear for several years now that kept her brace positioned properly and supported her well while she walked. She was very hesitant to even try these but was finally forced to when we could no longer get these previous version in her size. She loves these shoes! Specifically she has reported that around the ankle she feels they support her brace even better than the last style. She states there is also “a bar” you can see running from heel to toe in the shoe that helps her feel much more stable when she is walking. The toe box feels a bit wider to her and that is also providing her with more comfort. After being so distraught at first over the update and the cost difference ( over double) We are so glad they updated the design after hearing what a difference it is actually maki g for her comfort and stability!!

when New Balance created these shoes, they were thinking all about ME :~)
I was very happy when these shoes finally arrived and when i put my feet in them I just knew they were a keeper. I am very pleased with them. My feet, are have always been flat, I was born with half of a heel on my right foot and the left foot is normal so, it has has been quite challenging for me to find the correct fitted shoes. I am a focused walker and Im getting up in age and the challenges have increased from flat feet, to planter fattissitis, to budding bunions. LOL I know, I know. When I came across these shoes by New Balance, I ordered them in a size 9.5 wide everything.... about these shoes is great the heel height the width, the fit everything, everything, about these shoes I LOVE, this purchase, was well worth the money. I will order again. When New Balance created these shoes, they were thinking all about Me.

Quality keeps declining
I have been wearing New Balance for nearly 20 years. Over the years, I have have had to gradually buy more and more expensive models in order to get the same quality and durability, but I do like them--I have wide feet, but these fit well, are comfortable, and last longer than other brands I have tried.Recently, I purchased a pair of gdefy shoes, just to try something different and a little bit cheaper. Those shoes never fit right, and wear out in half the time the New Balance shoes do.This time, I went back to New Balance. While I do still like the fit, I am definitely unhappy with the quality. There is no arch support to speak of, nor is there any padding any more.I would go to a more expensive model of these shoes again, but I'm pretty sure I've hit the ceiling. I will keep these, but I guess I'm going to have to find a totally different brand next time.Hey New Balance, I would rather pay more money for the same quality shoe than have the same price and a cheaper shoe!!!

Comfortable all rounder
Full grain leather, and true to size. I have plantar fasciitis and have inserted orthotics - bought trainers with this in mind. Worn trainers all week to exercise classes and very comfortable.

Great support, durable
I ordered these shoes as I work on my feet 9+ hours a day. I already own a pair of New Balance trainers and they haven't disappointed! They're very supportive with quite a hard sole, great if you have flat feet. I've been wearing them for the past 3 months and they're still I'm good condition.

nera,sportiva,comoda, leggera
