I have been suffering with severe eczema that came on suddenly about 6 months ago. When I say severe, I mean like EVERYTHING hurts my skin. Showering had become something I dreaded because the body washes and soaps would make the symptoms even worse. I'm basically a tomato afterward and most other products left my skin stinging. Anyway, I saw this shower gel and ordered it specifically because of the probiotics it contains. After months of this issue and practically nonstop reading about eczema to learn ways to relieve it, I believe mine is the result of a leaky gut. The fact that this shower gel has kefir in it was appealing as I am hoping to both balance my internal microbiome with daily probiotic supplements, L-glutamine, cutting out trigger foods and my external microbiome by incorporating this product. After using it for a week I can say I love it! I was worried when I opened it for the first time and realized it was scented that the fragrance would be a problem but it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I wash my hands and face with it which is where my symptoms are the worst and I haven't had any noticeable stinging or burning! So far it seems adding this to my skincare regimen is helping me survive and hopefully recover from my condition.
