Not as advertised
So I'm disappointed and haven't decided if I will keep this, yet. I just received it today and upon opening, it is not as advertised. The advertising specifically states this steering wheel cover is better than the competition because it is made from one piece with one seam, but the one I received was pieced together like the comparison picture of the " bad" one. Really? It's almost laughable- do they not expect people to look at the back side, especially when advertised this way?The fur is real and soft, but I ordered the black and it does have a slight unnatural smell, probably from the dye. I debated over getting the lighter natural color, and might still order one from a different seller to compare.Amazon makes returns easy, but it is still a hassle and I don't like doing it. I expect to receive what I ordered as advertised :(

Tips on Installing!
1. Prep - untwist cover, sit cross-legged, and stretch cover around your knee2. Start installing from the bottom of the steering wheel and use your knees to hold the cover in place as your stretch the top of the cover over the top of the steering wheel with your hands - took 6 seconds!!! versus the frustration of the cover slipping if you start from the top of the wheel.'I gave this 4 stars because i'm skeptical of the wool's full authenticity. The back cover is really thick, making me think there is a possibility that it is a faux backing to prevent detection of either the incorporation of synthetics or the piecemeal together of different sheepskins. BUT, that being said, it is soft enough and looks nice enough that I dont really care :) It keeps my hands warm while driving on cold days, which is what I wanted!

Stretch it first. Fits trucks.
I read a lot of reviews on different steering wheel covers mentioning how difficult they can be to install. I definitely felt this way at first. But after reading someone else's review about stretching it out first, that helped immensely. I just hooked it around my knee and pulled it with my hands until I could hear the fabric creaking a bit. And then I rotated it a quarter of a turn and repeated the stretching. I started by putting it on the bottom of the steering wheel first and using my knee to hold it in place while pulling it over the rest of the steering wheel. Without stretching, I absolutely could not get it on by myself. Stretching made all the difference.Very soft and comfortable. I have issues with my fingers turning white and purple when they touch something cold, so I got this for the cold weather for my 2004 Silverado 2500. Fits fine. Doesn't shed much at all. Yes, you can see some of the elastic once it's on, but I don't really care. That's to be expected. It's so soft that I can see how it might make it a little easier for your hand to slip on the steering wheel. Just be mindful of that and grip the wheel a little firmer or use both hands instead of one.

NICE AND FURRY! But stretch it good before putting it on your steering wheel!
This is just the right amount of plush to have warm hands but not lose the feel of the steering wheel. I took off one star however because it certainly is NOT one piece of leather as advertised (as being "better than the competition"). It is several stitched together, I'd say approximately 8 different pieces, some as small as one inch wide. This may seem like a very petty point, but each different hide has a slightly different "feel" to the wool, so I put the largest strip where my hands normally are when I drive. Make sure to stretch this before you put it on your wheel, or you will have a bear of a time. :-)

Works GREAT winter AND summer
I ❤ this. I bought it in the winter, but now that it's summer, I'm loving it just as much. Keeps my steering wheel cool. Not too warm to hold in summer. Fluffy and nice in winter.

Doesnt shed!!!
I LOVE IT! Super soft. A little rough to put in but once you stretch it, finit's fine. Not overpowering, I had a different one that blocked my whole dashboard! This is perfection and doesnt shed!!! Super excited for the drive... took a while to come but so worth it!!

Just too slippery
This sheepskin steering wheel cover was soft and easy to install. It just felt too slippery in my hands. I have sheepskin bicycle seat covers but they have shorter, curly hair. This steering wheel cover had longer hair. It also blocked my view of the dashboard a little too. So I'm just sticking with my bare steering wheel. The other steering wheel covers at Walmart and at the auto supply stores all had a risk of cancer. I had installed one that I got on sale at Walmart and decided not to use it for the cancer risk reason. That is when I decided to try this sheepskin steering wheel cover. So you don't know until you try. So my review might save you from trying. I just pitched it rather than sending it back to Amazon.

Not fluffy
I bought this to replace a steering wheel cover I purchased from New Zealand. It was incredibly fluffy, this one is not. It's very thin. That may not be a bad thing for some but it wasn't what I was expecting.

It matches the description
I was not aware that this was shipped from an Asian country, and it cost an additional $17.54 in import duty. After purchasing this item, I found that there is a similar product manufactured here.

Comfort and ease of driving
Fuzzy, but not as much as another local canadian supplier. Does not slip on steering wheel - good.
