All-Natural Buffalo Rawhide Rolls -2 Large Rolls

Bought two packages of the large rolls to try out for our 14 week pup. Tried the plastic nyla and rubber type bones but our pup would only chew on those for a very short time, and preferred to go for our shoes and almost anything else! Although these are pricey they have lasted many weeks of puppy chewing. They are big/stout and rolled tight enough where she cannot get more than very tiny pieces off as she gets enough slobber and chewing action going on one of the ends to soften it up where she can nibble and scrape it with her teeth. She prefers if I hold it for her so she can get better leverage on it! The package said it is made in USA and the rolls look well made.

These are too small for big dogs or heavy chewers. My mistake to order because I thought they would be like the big ones made by the same company and they aren't. I can't mark them down for my mistake. The dogs really like the bison hide so little dogs and light chewers should enjoy these.

We found these Tasman's Buffalo Rawhide Rolls when Wholesome Hides unfortunately stopped making their large retriever rolls, and we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We have two heavy-chewing German Shepherds (one @100lbs, the other @65lbs) that both absolutely love these buffalo rawhide rolls.I try to always keep two on hand. If they polish off one of them, and there's only one left in the house, they will take turns stealing it from each other, the pickpocketed pup looking on forlornly while the victor chomps blissfully away.These rolls are so thick, heavy, and well-made that it usually takes them about a week to 10 days to go through one. They're well worth the money for the quality, durability, pleasure and diversion they provide for the dogs, and perhaps most importantly that they are clean/safe and made in the USA without chemicals, etc.Job well done, Tasman's!

These usually last a while with our dog [German Shepherd mix]. She really loves them when we get a new one out!

Biggest chews I’ve ever seen. My labs not as interested in this vs. cowhide chews though. Excellent option to have for chewers - worth the money because it lasts.

Previously I reviewed the "Wholesome Hide" brand retriever rolls highly. That hasn't changed, but with the largest size of the Wholesome Hide getting harder to find (and more expensive!) lately I decided to give these a shot.I was surprised at the size and quality. The "Jumbo" size is enormous (see photos for a comparison to an aluminum pop can for reference) and is nice and solid. Tightly wound, no scraps in the center to bulk it up.Most people buy rawhide rolls that are too small for their dog and then are surprised or upset when the dog gets through them in an hour. If you're looking for something your dog can spend hours on, get something that is "too big" to chew on, so they can't get the full force of their jaws on it at any given time. The previously mentioned Wholesome Hides last quite a while (sometimes two weeks before they get to a dangerous size and have to be taken away) with a hound who loves to chew for hours at a time, and these last even longer.

Just an FYI, the fine print on the back of the label says 'processed in USA or Mexico. I was disappointed to read that.

If your dog is allergic to beef hide, get these!

My large, 90 lb black lab really loves this brand of rawhide. We typically order the rings but they were not available so I ordered the rolls for him for variety. He spent 2 days carrying it around the house, chewing on it, and sharing it with his dog brothers. He really enjoyed chewing on this, and it is good quality because it took him 2-3 days to finish unlike cheaper brands were he blasts through a chip in 20 minutes. Tasmans Bison Rawhide, no matter the shape, always seem to take him a long time and even if he has another bone started, he will abandon it if I offer him one of the Bison rawhide. I suppose he can taste the difference from the regular beef (cow) rawhide he gets. This product is hormone and antibiotic free, which is an added bonus as we try to keep his diet pretty clean. Considering the quality of the product, the price is quite reasonable, especially with free shipping.

These rolls are not "small", do not buy them for a small-medium sized dog! The diameter is around 5 cm/2 inches. 4-5 inches is the LENGTH, but because it's so thick, my little dog could not get her mouth around it.As for the quality of the product.. it seems thick and durable and I would recommend buying it for a bigger dog.

Quality look good but way to small for the medium roll look like a small one...
