Hoverwheel - Self-Balancing Electric Hoverskates: UL Certified

Bought for my 12yo step son for Christmas. He loves them & can ride them well. Transitioning from a regular hoverboard to these were no problem at all for him. So far they run & charge great. Only complaint he has is the rubber lining that covers the lights around where your feet go pops out & you can’t get it put all the way back in so it sticks out & drives him crazy. Picture attached.

Best Christmas present received by anyone in our family this year!! I bought them for my 9 year old daughter, but I think I had just as much fun on them as she. Her cousins in college LOVED them and have decided to buy some to roll around campus on 😆.I’ll admit that when I first tried these, I thought “these are impossible to ride!” But I am also 38 and not the target market for them. It didn’t take long to get used to them, though. They seem safer than a hoverboard to me. The only downside so far is that they are super beat up after two weeks of everyone in our family learning to ride them!

After all the hassle concerning delivery... I have not managed to get any help from the seller when my unit went mad on the 3rd use. There is nothing on the internet about how to fix issues or how to contact the seller/manufacturer. I contacted Amazon.com and got a phone number that does not exist anymore. I was really enjoying it until it stopped working. Now it took the joy out of it as I don't feel the product is reliable. If there was a more solid support, I believe customers would have a better experience and the manufacturer could learn more on how to make improvement for their sponsors! I have been following Inventist for a long time and was really excited to buy this product (bought 2 pairs) and now I am truly disappointed. Wish I bought a Segway instead.

Day1 - Super fun learning to ride with other people from the between generation that are used to skateboards, rollerskates and not born with a hoverboard under them. A cane helps you get used to them. Also they hold up well so far, lots of scratches but metal and still functioning well. Day 1 charge 2 - Able to get to full speed without panicking and jumping off, found out forcing your feet forward help stop when your get going too fast. Also got the spin in place going now. Seems each charge is a tutorial level, so by tomorrow I'll finish the advanced tutorial.

SKate's are fun and easy to ride.. the pair I received had a defect whicfi caused one of them to occasionally shut off. I contacted them, and they send a replacement. I will update when I try the new pair.Update: The new pair seems to work great.. I love to ride them around the living room while having my morning beverage and watching the stock market open. I'm teaching my girlfriend who is over 70, to ride them.. she is slow catching on but isgetting better...

They took about an hour to figure out for my 8 and 11 year olds. One pair malfunctioned after the first use, but eventually with online videos learning how to re-calibrate it, we managed to get the second pair working again.They are fun when you get the hang of it and when it works properly.

I like playing around on them, but I don’t like that the terrain needs to be mostly smooth. They don’t do well on bumpy ground. I would recommend indoor use only.

Update: Great company. I had one skate start to fail on me and they replaced it no questions asked. Will definitely buy more products in the future.These are amazing if you know how to ice skate. Have made airport travel immensely easier. Extremely fun too. There is a definite learning curve but it’s worth it.
