I wore them the day they arrived for a special ROMANTIC EVENT & MY DATE SIMPLY LOVED HOW GREAT THESE SHOES LOOKED ON MY FEET!!!! Made of soft red suede with black sides & the rubber soles so comfortable I'm walking on clouds. Also the fit is just perfect to my feet I always order a 1/2 size bigger & never had any issues with DC shoes. BTW I HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR OF DC SHOES A DIFFERENT STYLE WHILE THEY WERE ON SALE FROM AMAZON.COM & CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO ARRIVE TODAY!!!! I'M SAVING THEM TO WEAR ON MY FEET AS A SURPRISE WITH MY HOT DATE!!!!!

Ordered these shoes. They arrived. Fit perfectly. Looked good.

I purchased these sneakers because I liked the color and style, plus they were on special. I usually take a size 10.5 but these were far too tight, especially at the top of the toes and to the sides of my feet. I gave them to my room-mate as an early Christmas gift (he was thrilled with them). I then ordered other Sneakers in the DC range and went for size 11 this time (they are a very snug fit so I should really have gone a whole size up, not just half). I think the size difference to other footwear is probably because the materials are thick and padded, so there's obviously a little less room inside each shoe.I know some people can't afford to make these kinds of mistakes, as some other Reviewers did mention the size issue, so I definitely recommend you order one full size larger, as a minimum.Depending on what you pay when you order, I would still consider these good value for money, it's just a shame I can't speak to the comfort levels. I will post reviews on the other "DC" branded shoes I just got delivered today when I've had some time to try them out. This is the only reason I give four stars and not five - they could have fit better in hindsight, and maybe the manufacturer could think about publicizing this when they sell this tight-fitting range.

I’ve bought DC shoes for years. I’m 29 and I’ve bought them since middle school. The last 3 orders of shoes I bought the men’s pure skate shoe. But I order these anvil shoes for work. I am a hairstylist and I’m on my feet all day and wanted a clean all black shoe. These are similar to my other DC’s but I like these more because the tongue isn’t so puffy. And they are sleeker with less texture and seems on the sides and brim. If that makes sense. There is also a little less padding in the back. I find them very comfortable. I’m a woman size 9 so I buy men’s 7.5 and I did and these are perfect. Same as usual and no issue. My DC’s I usually keep for my everyday shoe for 3-5 years and then reorder them. The heel tends to wear away around that time frame. But for everyday wearing the same pair all day for that many years, it’s impressive. I just love DC.

If you like Vans style shoes, then you will love the DC Anvil series. They fit similarly but with better arch support. Anyone that wears Vans knows that these things are terrible in that department. These feel good and look great! I have a few pairs of these DC Anvils (different styles) and wear them all the time. This particular style is not my favorite but they work. The pattern on the tongue and heel looks like a Southwest motif. But if you wear pants, they will cover most of the pattern and they will just look straight black. I would buy again. Note that they run small. I bought about a size up. I ordered my original size at first and returned because they were way too small.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Got these for my husband who is a skater. He wanted more comfortable skate shoes for the skate park. He loves DC shoes, but after I seen what they look like I don't want him to wear them to the skate park. So I guess I'm going to have to get him a different pair of shoes to destroy at the skate park. They fit him perfect. All skater shoes fit in different sizes. He has Vans, Nike SB shoes, ect... His sizes vary from 10-11 depending on the brand. The majority of his shoes are 10.5 and that's what I got him and they are a perfect fit. Would definitely recommend this product.
