Beware -- Not a Big Bang for your Buck
The image that Amazon uses to sell this product is deceiving. It looks like a box set and for $43.78 which isn't too terrible. Don't make the same mistake I made. I've never heard of Sunrise Earth and just rushed in choosing between the few choices that are out there of Sunrise Earth which can be considerably cheaper. When my order came arrived today (12/22), it only contains two DVDs in a normal looking DVD case (not what is pictured). Each DVD has 3 episodes. Ultimately if you think 6 episodes are worth $43.78 then this is for you. Personally, I feel robbed and will now look like a cheap A$$ when I'm giving this as my gift to my in-law. Yay! :-( I guess I deserve what I get since I didn't take more time in researching all what Sunrise Earth has to offer. And that little icon in the upper right corner in the product image that you can't make out, says "2 DVD Set." Maybe if I could have actually read that before the product arrived I wouldn't have made this grievous error.Good luck!

Great party DVD
Just put this on right before the guests arrive. It's like having Machu Pichu in your living room. Make sure you get the HD version. No music to listen to, just a living picture with some bird sounds. I've bought the other Sunrise Earth series as well.

Sunrise Earth - Ancient
I was anxious to get this set of Sunrise Earth because they don't generally show it on HD Tv. I thought I would like to see other spots of the earth besides United States. All of it was really nice, except for the "Stonehenge" section. It was too long and I got really tired of looking at nothing but standing stones from one view to another. I wish they would have covered more of the countryside. The rest of the selections were really nice. I still would have bought it if I knew what was on the disc. Anyone into ants and bugs would like this edition of Sunrise Earth.
