Suburban 520900 Replacement Electric Water Heater Element Kit

It fit great but didn't work. I haven't had time to check further to see if it's a switch or something in the wiring. Seems to be a quality product. I'll update if I find that it's the element itself.

I believe this is a pretty common size in hot heaters in RV. Mine is a Grand Design Momentum 351 and it fit perfectly. I used teflon tape on the threads but I’m not convinced that is needed. If your electric hot water heat is no longer working, there are several YouTube videos about how to change them although sometimes it is something besides the element. Check for power at the element with a volt meter with hot water heater turned on. If no power then the element is not your problem.

Replacement part, just as advertised. Fit my SW10DE water heater on my RV. These are a pain to remove and replace. You have to buy a special hollow wrench to put them on and off. Wish this was offered with the wrench as a combo option because it was annoying to buy from separate sellers and not have anything show up at the same time. I did notice this was significantly longer than the old part I took out, but it still fit in the water heater just fine.

Not identical to what I took out but that may not have been the right part as this is a 2008 model. Fit perfect and works great. Time will tell about longevity.
