Metal Bible NLT: Silver Thirsty (Metal, Silver) (Heavy Metal Bible Series) Paperback – October 1, 2002

This is a very good conversation starter. It’s fun and well worth the time spent playing.

I love it !! Buying a second one. The Seller described the condition of the book Perfectly. I was very happy when it arrived better than was described. It also shipped very fast. It has a really nice dark blue hard cover and is very sturdy (definitely a pew bible built for being handled roughly. Font size is about 7 or 8 pts and the spacing between the letters makes it easy to read (albeit i still need my glasses). The pages aren't the typical tissue paper thin. They are thicker and you can't see the text coming through on the other side. The NLT is my favorite translation. I always search for the Copyright in 1996. I feel that the newer versions of the NLT are a little too far from the 'King's English'. 1996 and 1997 are the best version.

When looking for a Bible for my son I could only think of how well will it hold up against his rough handling of his possessions. I found this with a metal cover will do the trick. Over all a good buy.

Mostly I like this it’s great for the road or a quick family/ friend game could be used at church for great conversation starter.

Coolest Bible ever. The print is a bit small but because it's compact and in case completely even if spilled drink can't get this Bible damaged. My son loves the NLT version verses BIB which is what he's been nn reading since first Church attendance in elementary school. He's now 15. I love that the New Living Translation makes the Bible simple to read and world or technology online so accessible. Having I saw a book in your hands especially Bible is what I considered to be a must for my twins. My suggestion is that you took out the text size before purchasing them to ensure that if your child needs glasses that's something to be considered.

I thought this might be a good way of listening to the Bible. However, there is no way to easy way to select what Scriptures you would like to listen to. Like many audible books, they are not indexed very well. All you see is chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3 and no way to find your way around. This is very disappointing. I wanted to return it but Audible does not allow returns on items purchased except by credit.I would not suggest purchasing this or any audible Bible that does not index itself according to the Bible. It was an inexpensive purchase, but a wasted purchase for me. I would like to be able to choose what book and what chapter I would like to listen to in the Bible.Next time I will read the reviews before making a purchase like this.

The aluminum cover makes it great for traveling. It protects the Bible while stashed in a backpack, tote or purse. Very well made, and interesting cover may prompt others to inquire about it, giving you the opportunity to discuss your faith.

I've bought a few of these bibles as gifts and this is the second one I've had for myself. Because of its durability, it's excellent for taking with you. And I love how each cover holds a unique meaning for different seasons and different people.

Very deep

Just the thing for a teenager's baptism present. I love the casing, the magnetic closure and it feels very good to hold.
