Animewild Transformers Movie Advanced Series AD31 Armor Knight Optimus Prime

Received this order earlier than expected in original unopened box in perfect condition. I already had the Hasbro retail leader class Optimus Platinum Edition, and although I liked that figure a lot, the Takara version is the more movie accurate model. This can be seen in the remold of the chest plate, gauntlet forearms, sword, feet, and wrist articulation. The option to change the look of Optimus' face was definitely the cherry on top. The metallic sheen of the truck body is way superior to the Hasbro version. Based on the movie, the smaller Hasbro shield is the more accurate one and I wished the sword had the metal look, but it wasn't a deal breaker . The steel metal look portions of the Takara version allowed the intricate details to show more clearly instead of being lost in the sea of chrome. After seeing multiple reviews and comparisons on YouTube, there was no doubt I had to get this one. As many have mentioned before, I wish the back pack was able to fold into a smaller size, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. It doesn't take away the fact that the AOE Takara Optimus is the best leader prime out there. I love this figure and plan to display him in the box. Being only available for purchase overseas makes it a rare find here in the States. I definitely would recommend it as a must-buy for someone who is beginning a collection It's pricier than the Hasbro release but it's definitely worth it.

One word can describe this guy.GLORIOUS.First of all, I was debating on the AD01 since I first saw the paint job and how it was superior to the Hasbro version, which sadly was atrocious. But I wasn't convinced or swayed after seeing many reviews on YouTube and forums. Then I heard of the DMK-03. I saw pictures, which I assumed were proto-types of the unfinished product and assumed he'd end up being magnificent. Then I also heard of the AD31 at the same time.I became conflicted and decided to hold out for a while until I came to a conclusion. Finally, I got it, YouTube user Felzbug made me bite the bullet even though this guys price sky-rocketed from around 80.00U$D to 90.00+U$D. And all I have to say is money well spent.His paint job is Takara Tomy Quality.His remolded chest, arms, and feet are more screen accurate then the AD01 and it's Hasbro Counterpart. The swappable faceplate is also amazing, although I always prefer faceplated Optimus Prime over him having a mouth. Just superb.The Truck mode is also very movie accurate too, but I rather keep this fella in Robot Mode. My only beef is how skinny his waist is in contrast to the rest of his chest. This is easily dealt with by raising the skirt to the empty area of the waist and actually makes him look more knightly.Overall, worth every penny.

plastic is cheap and flimsy

for all of you transformer movie toy collectors out there this is the definitive leader class version of Optimus Prime from age of extinction its based off of the final movie design and not the concept art like the Hasbro US version i highly recommend getting this you will not see this in US retail not till the next movie at least it has a high quality metallic paint job unless you buy a model or statue and not a transforming toy you will not find a better representation of AOE prime for all of you who got the buster Optimus Prime when it came out its the same situation here evan if this improved mold comes to the US with the next movie Hasbro wont give you the premium paint job

I LOVE THIS FIGURE! i think many sellers are out of stock and i am late to review but hey it is awesome! awesome paint job and just nice detail on the arms and chest. You CAN remove the backpack if u hate it so much. just use a philips head screwdriver, a heavy monkey wrench and smash the pin out. heat with a hairdryer if you need. simple(parts-forming, love it or hate it)! now mine looks splendid. stands out everytime. rachet joints actually limit the range of poses but iam ok with that. i love transformers and this is an awesome transformer! but not recomended if u arent willing to pay more than the first mold...

There are lots of repaints floating around of this figure, but by far this is the best. Not only do you get a premium paint job, there is remolded chest, remolded arms with swivel hands, remolded feet, and a new head that has a face gimmick that goes from mouth to faceplate. You also get a new sword and shield with this release. Yes there is a backpack that many have complained about. In my opinion the new upgrades more than make up for it and it's not much of a distraction. If you want a premium movie 4 prime that transforms this is the one to pick up.

Colorazione eccellente, articolazione aggiunta (i polsi) rispetto al modello Hasbro o al Takara AD-01, faccia intercambiabile tra normale e maschera da battaglia. Spada fedele alla versione CGI tranne che per il colore.Parti riscolpite:testa, torace, avambracci, gonellino, piedi, spada e scudo.

Mi sento di consigliare questo articolo ai collezionisti, non ritengo sia adatto ai bambini per l'accurata realizzazione di ogni particolare: eccellente!

映画TF5で発売されるオプティマスの初回バージョンがおそらくボイジャークラスであろう噂があるので、リーダークラスが出るのはまだかなり先になるだろうと思い今のうちにと購入。プロポーションや塗装の豪華さは先にレビューされてる方々の通り素晴らしくかっこいいものです。難点と言われてる背負い物もロボット自体のスタイルを犠牲にしないためと考えれば十分許容範囲内のものです。（まあじっくり見た感じ、半分折って畳み込むくらいの収納変形ぐらいはいけたんじゃね？、て思わなくもない印象ですが）変形時に一点だけ難点があったのでそこだけ。つま先の部分をビークルに変形させる際に180度後ろに回転させて収納するんですが、その収納を深く入れすぎると、またロボットに変形させる際に足の甲の滑らかな平面という形状から摘みにくく、取り出しづらくなっちゃいます。下手すると細い紐をつま先の裏にくぐらせてようやく引っ張り出さなきゃいけないということになるのでそこだけ注意が必要です
