Bad substitute
I know you would have to pay a lot more if this was real, but this is a very bad substitution. The pockets are too small for standard credit cards and identifications. When full, it will not close. Had to use a rubber band around it to keep it closed for the first couple of months. Would not recommend.

Not quite what I expected.
Thought it might be a little heavier. (Not saying that is better) Don't think it will last as long as leather.
