A great set of wellies. I'm probably on my 5th pair now (I've lost count). For the price they are robust, have a super chunky grip (that does reduce slipping in mud/snow etc) with a steel toe-cap and a very stiff shank/sole (possibly has steel here as well) and hence they are ideal for heavy digging. The wellies stand-up by themselves and don't flop over like cheaper brands. On the downside they don't last forever! I notice from other reviews that the major complaint is the rubber splitting on the upper foot where the walking crease occurs. This is the same with me and a pair rarely lasts longer than a year. I have a small-holding of a few acres and wear them most days during Autumn/winter, so I'm not complaining about this given the price. It's just a shame that I have to discard a perfectly good set of wellies for the sake of a split. I wish there was a wellie recycling centre! Note that the sizes tend to be on the large size. I have feet size of UK 9.5 to 10, but I've learnt to buy an 8 for these JCB wellies and I still need double socks.

Already tested in local flood conditions. Good to have the heel tab to simplify removing the boots.

Inner sole came off within just 2 days and felt like I was walking on a rock, tried flattening it and using again but just kept coming up, I ended up ripping the inner sole out and using without which is now more uncomfortable. But you get what you pay for I guess

Great value for money wellies. Good grip & excellent quality. A bit on the large size so would suggest going down a size

Extra tough workwear wellies. Very comfortable to wear, I prefer to wear industrial boots when walking the dog as they are usually comfortable and easy to slip on and off. These wellies are very well made from quality materials made and should last ages, the thick soles are great when walking on rough terrain . I usually wear a size 9 shoe but after reading reviews saying that they are rather large I ordered size 8 and they fit perfectly .

Not as wide as i hoped, i used to lift weights so my calves are large; there was not a hope of me tucking my jeans in to the boot, and after a hour i struggled to get the boots off because with my perspiration they had stuck to my carves! a better liner fabric would help maybe or knee sox? build wise they are good, chunky.

Needed a boot with a good tread to walk dog in muddy field's. Good quality without high price.Suggest ordering 1size under normal as fit large
