Love these pots but susceptible to damage, waste of time.
I ordered two of these, and one had a huge split as soon as I added soil. I requested a replacement, and that had a crack as well. So now I have one unmatched pot. Im super annoyed. I love the look of these, but Amazon is not checking the product before shipping and there is no padding in the box to prevent damage!!

This pot is BEAUTIFUL and of great quality. SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT!
I was THRILLED to receive these pots. Although the packaging was less than adequate, in my opinion, mine were delivered in perfect condition. I was leery of ordering these as I saw many reviews that stated their pots arrived with a crack,. But I am SO GLAD I took a chance. These pots are heavy and just BEAUTIFUL! They do have the insert for drainage at the bottom inside the pot and there is also a little hole underneath the bottom of the pot with a plug in it that can be removed. It's little, but you could drill another hole or two, I would think, although I have not yet tried. The color is pretty much what you see. Again I can't stress enough the quality of this pot. So glad I ordered 2. I will be using them outside and I believe they will hold up very well. Don't know if they will fade, but I doubt it. You will love this pot!

Great purchase
I was looking for a pot to hide the nursery pot of my bougainvillea and this did the job perfectly, especially with the tray inside since my nursery pot is 9in in diameter but only 6in high. I did drill additional holes in the bottom and added some feet under for better drainage since my plant needs to be hand watered daily. So far I love how it looks and it was packaged really nicely with lots of bubble wrap and arrived in perfect condition.

Beautiful but missing drainage inserts
Beautiful planters for outside. However one of them I receive with no drainage insert at the bottom. It was missing. I love the look of the pots but also liked that there was a section that had drainage with creating a space at the bottom of the router and get Ron disappointed but not worth messing with sending it back or just that and will have to work with putting stones or pebbles in the bottom

Intact upon arrival, but cracked later.
UPDATE 5/3/20: ONE CRACKED WHILE BEING FILLED WITH SOIL :( I was so sad and pissed off it cracked. Used gorilla glue inside and out and then duct tape on the inside just as a reinsurance. So far it's holding steady.I was super excited when I received these pots. Although the packaging was less than adequate, literally no bubble wrap, mine were delivered in perfect condition. I was leery of ordering these as I saw many reviews that stated their pots arrived with a crack,. But I am happy I took a chance. These pots have a decent weight to them and just BEAUTIFUL! They do have the insert for drainage at the bottom inside the pot and there is also a little hole underneath the bottom of the pot with a plug in it that can be removed. It's little, but you could drill another hole or two. These will be in door pots so I have no need to make more holes as I want it to be self watering. The sage color is pretty much what you see. So glad I ordered 2. If it survives the shipping, you will be happy!

Great looking and solid planter
I now have four (4) of these planters around my house and am planning to get a couple more here soon (need to catch-up with all my cuttings). I bought my first Novelty (strange name but nothing 'novelty product' about these) at a store after many weeks of looking for a solid, simple, stone-looking planter. These things are tough thick resin and quite heavy, but much lighter than if they were real stone or concrete. They look great from afar and as long as you're not examining it from 5 inches away they can pass for a stone-like material or at least GFRC.In addition to their good looks, they have a great insert in the bottom so that it can function as a self-irrigating planter to some extent. While you cannot fill just the reservoir nor see how much water is in it, it does help to prevent water from pooling at the roots (as long as you are not over-over watering). Any slight overwatering drains into the reservoir where a plug of soil allows it to slowly wick back into the pot. There is a drain plug at that bottom too in case your plant is drowning.

Very Nice Planter
This planter fits perfectly on my home balcony. The material is super light weight and so far seems to be quite sturdy. The only con about the light weight is that sometimes during storms it can tip over if you have a tall plant inside. This hasn't happened often for me but it has happened. The style is perfect and I love the water reservoir in the bottom. Potted plants often dry out quickly when left outside but this reservoir makes sure that the plant has water always if I'm not able to water it every day.

I bought some outdoor pots from Target that have worked beautifully for 5 or 10 years in Wichita's harsh climate
Some years ago, I bought some outdoor pots from Target that have worked beautifully for 5 or 10 years in Wichita's harsh climate. These Ella Planters looked similar in the photos, but are not anything like what I was hoping for. The Target pots were made of recycled plastics, with thick (about 3/8") and slightly flexible sides, and have weathered out over the years from a dark charcoal color to a nice soft gray. The Ella planters are thin and brittle plastic; I ordered two and they both arrived broken. Granted, there was not nearly enough bubble wrap in the package to protect them — the first photo shows the box as it was shipped, and there was just that little in the way of protection in the carton. The second photo shows the crack in this planter (the Ella 36128 I ordered was cracked even worse). The third photo shows the difference in wall thickness between my old Target planter and the cheesy Ella planter.
