My son received a similar item from someone else right before I gave him this one, and the binoculars on those didn't fit right. This are much better quality. The flashlight is great, we like all the items it comes with. Only issue is with the cup with the spider in it - the cup keeps collapsing down. We've placed fake worms and other insects we pretend to find while pretend hiking. Would buy again.

Overall, this is a really fun little set for kids! The variety of this kit is fun and offers lots of things to try. That being said, the quality is not the best. The expandable magnified bug cup falls apart pretty easily and the top magnifier comes off without much effort. The tweezers are great for picking up the fake plastic bugs but I would not recommend them for real bugs. Some of the plastic bugs are pretty roughly cut, but otherwise they are great. The binoculars, compass, and flash light are awesome and definitely make this kit worth it. Overall, it's a great fun gift, especially for the price, and will keep kids busy for a while, just don't expect it to last forever!

What a amazing little discovery set! My son is gonna have an amazing time this spring exploring new areas outside. Includes fake little bugs to explore inside during these cold months we are about to experience. Comes with everything you need to be an explorer and comes with a drawstring backpack to hold your goodies.

Got this Fir my son’s out door activity for his camp. He loves it. It has everything he needs. Binocular, magnify glass, flashlight, whistle, compass, and a little holder for bugs. It comes with a drawstring bag to put all this in. My son is 6 years old and knows what each are for. Very good to keep them active outside. He goes out to our backyard to look for bugs now.

.... O M G. SO MUCH FUN. This just came in yesterday, and my 6 y and 2 y daughters have been playing with it non stop. They didn't want to go to sleep because of it and woke up and played with it right away! They toss the bugs on the ground and turn off the lights then use the flash light and binoculars to pretend to find the bugs. The smile on their faces is everything and I just wish I had bought this sooner!

My 2.5 year old twins love this set. My little girl woke up this morning asking to play with her bugs.It isn’t the best quality. The plastic on the top of the cup already fell out but you get what you pay for. Both my kids played with the set and the binoculars and magnifying glass are probably their favorite thing (Along with the bugs).I think for the price, this is a great toy for kids to learn and explore with.

I brought this for my niece for her birthday. She loves to watch the birds and deer and she loves to be outside playing and learning. Product is durable and binoculars work great. Cant wait to see how much she loves her gift and to start searching for bugs and birds! Also brought her a book to help her out!

 This is a great outdoors kit. Lots of pieces that are good quality, durable and nice size for little hands.
