I have bought many of these over the years. I use them on my car's dashboard right above the streeing wheel to hold my Polarized Driving Glasses which I wear 95% of time as I drive.The only problem is after 2 - 3 years and a couple of washes, this type of sticky pads (not particularly this one as I just bought one of these) tend to lose their stickyness and it is time to buy a new one.So over the last 12 years or so, I have bought many of these.Every time I needed one, I had to buy 2 or 3 from stores and return them as most of such pads in the market are not sticky enough and/or smell pretty badly.These are made from Silicone Material. The ones which smell are giving off gnarly VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) Fumes which are very bad for your health! They won't make you noticeably very sick immediately, but little by little over a long time they mess up your endocrine (Hormonal) system. So I have always avoided the ones which smell.I have returned quite a few and I have even opened the package at the store before buying one and returning it to smell it and see how sticky it is.So I guess by now I am an expert at rating these :-)This particular item which has "Inten" printed on one side in silver is very sticky.and it does not smell.It is my favorite one among the many which I have bought and used or returned over the years.I expect it to go bad after a couple of years, in which case I hope I'll be able to buy another one just like it from this vendor.

We got two of these for our oddly rounded console in our van. Why Toyota thought a curved surface would make a good platform I'll never know, but the Insten Car Grip Pad took care of it. I can put my tablet or phone there and they don't move. The surface is very sticky. It's attracted some fingerprints and dust, but it still works well. So well in fact that when my mom saw it, she asked me to get her one as well.We've now had these for 3 years! About every 3 months we need to take them off and wash them with soap and water. We put them back on and they are good as new. Still super pleased with this product 3 years later.

I've always had a rubber case on my iPhone so it never slid in my car, but after switching to a hard case I couldn't figure out how to keep it from sliding off my dashboard. I love that this little mat doesn't leave any sticky residue on my phone case or dashboard. After about a week it stopped being sticky and my phone was sliding off of it. I was afraid it was just poorly made, but I have it a quick wipe with a wet cleaning cloth and viola- it's working like it did fresh out of the package! This thing will collect dust/hair/dirt in your car, so I recommend wiping it down once a week with something wet to keep it functioning properly

It wasn't as grippy as I wanted from buying one prior too this purchase that was , in defense though the one I refer to has quit working . This one works just not 100% non slip I'd give it 80 % non slippage it's gonna come down to certain things like how picky you are the placement of the pad like i said it does work .

Keeps my phone in place just like I wanted, the only issue is, when I go to take my phone off, the pad comes too. Not the end of the world, I just have to make sure I hold the pad down when I peel my phone off.

I set my dell inspirion on this product one day as we were driving in stop and go city traffic and i was so flabbergasted after 2 or 3 red lights, I decided to let it ride there for the 40 min commute home. It rocked back and forth quite a bit because the console it was on was in a ford escape, which is only 2 or 3 times the size of the grip pad. I should have made a video for the manufacturer lol. I intend on buying a dozen more of this product.

Works great and is very clean looking on my black interior. I hate how my phone would always slide around in my car. It is especially dangerous when I would make a big turn and find my phone under my seat. you can put this on your dashboard anywhere and your phone will stick to it. This comes in many colors which is nice because you can hopefully match it to your interior. I would recommend this product.

Bought this to keep the stuffed animal from sliding across my dash. Does nothing. It stuck to the car nicely.

I absolutely love it. I don't have to worry about my phone flying across the car anymore! I put it on the grip pad and forget about it. It is not going anywhere. I love it so much that I bought 4 more.
