Student Study Guide and Solutions Manual to accompany Organic Chemistry 2nd Edition

Organic Chemistry was already a hard class and my teacher always tried to assign problems from the text book that really just added to the difficulty of the class. We would have to present the said problems to the class and explain the answers and it just added to my stress. I was already bad at the class as it was, not to mention that I was shy when presenting. This book allowed me to check the answers and see how they were explained so that I didn't have to stress when I would go to present. Most problems are explained in depth more than anything you would find online. I was recommended this by a previous student and would definitely recommend this for anyone that is taking Organic Chemistry and using the same text book.

Excellent for preparing for organic chem. Covers all the problems in the text with thorough descriptions and reasoning behind each correct answer (and for some, why other answers are wrong). I've had books that just give the answer and force you to work them out, glad this wasn't one of them. Used it and the textbook it is paired with extensively in preparing for o chem exams, aced every test and the course. Worth its weight in gold and far cheaper on Amazon than the college bookstore (got this, the text, and another book for the price of the textbook alone at the bookstore). Definite recommend.

This manual is a godsend when it comes to organic chemistry. Sometimes you truly think you understand something and then you check the answers and wonder where the heck you went wrong. Well here you go, the answer to all your questions. It gives you step by step instructions on how to solve a problem and has all the questions, both odd and even.The textbook for organic chemistry only has answers for the odd questions and it does not show you how to do it, whereas this one shows you how to do each and every problem. If you want to get down to the nitty gritty and see exactly where you messed up or how to better solve a problem, or even to give yourself a pat on the back because you got the question correct, this book is for you. I originally rented this book over summer and it was so great I decided to just buy it. Will come in handy in the future if ever reviewing organic chemistry material for future tests such as the MCAT.

I would definitely recommend buying this! I got A's in both of my Organic classes because it allowed for me to check my answers as I worked through all of the problems, and it allowed for me to see where my gaps in knowledge were. If you want a good grade, I would definitely suggest for you to buy this book!

GET THIS ONE INSTEAD OF THE PREVIOUS EDITION. MORE content and lists reageant at the beginning. VERY helpful study tool. pages super thin like the bible, and you'll need a binder because it doesn't come withe one. WORTH IT. Get this as soon as you start orgo, I wish I did.

Excellent Solution Manual. All the questions, both odd and eve, have been answered on this manual. Way to go... masterpiece!

Recommend the solutions manual to work through problems. Few errors in the text but worked them out with my professor.
