Won’t stay programmed
It’s exactly what I ordered, but I have to reprogram it every so often. Not sure if it’s remote or the 2008 version tv is controls.

Good remote ... once you figure out how to program it
The remote works well and seems to be constructed as expected for a product at this price range. It would've been 5-stars, but we found it very difficult to figure out how to program the remote. There were some instructions on the back of the unit, but the 3 digit programming codes were not provided. It took quite a bit of research to find some codes that might work, and then we finally entered the right code through trial and error. I suggest the remote come with a listing of codes or provide a web address where you can find the codes.

Really works on 42pfl7482 !
My husband was really skeptical that a remote control of “universal” type could replace the original bought with the HD “ready” Philips tv which needs a tv box to display high resolution. Really amazing that it does work!

Se instalo sin problemas al tv philips, no tiene algunas opciones del tv, para esas opciones hay que usar el teclado del tv, se puede usar para volumen, cambio de entrada, info, encendido y apagado

Easy set up, but smaller buttons
Easy set up and works great. 4 stars because it is a bit smaller than the original and has smaller buttons.

Doesn't have a back button that work
Works pretty well with my Android TV but it doesn't have a back button that works, I have to go all the way out and back in to start something new, so I would not recommend for a Android TV

Great remote
This was a excellent choice for me. After reading on the specs on Universal remote so that I purchased the correct remote for our Phillips TV Model #50PFL3807/F7. It works perfectly. Great buy.
