Great, I just wish it was a bit coarser
It is impossible to find coarse iodized salt. But here it is! It comes out of my grinder a little bit, so I wish it was a bit coarser for that reason. But now I can grind salt and get my iodine (a necessary nutrient), so I'm happy. I don't know what I'm going to do with 2 lbs of salt, buy it should keep.

Coarse but not flakey
You get what the packaging says, but it wont wick moisture like you'd expect from traditional kosher salt. This one's kosher but the grains are a more uniform cut. Not outlandishly big or unusable though; I actually like the size.

This coarse salt is iodized
I do not know why, it is not easy to find iodized coarse salt at the market. Yet iodine is a very important substance for human body, and iodized salt is one of the most important sources of iodine. Since I love coarse salt, this iodized product is exactly a kind of salt that I was looking for. The taste of salt is quite regular. It has no particular flavor, and certainly it has no iodine smack which I hate. So this salt does contain iodine but you do not feel iodine taste.

Coarse, sort of, but iodized so that's good
We like this salt, but it is not really "coarse." It fits our grinder without leaking (barely) but I really expected something chunkier. Nevertheless, it does OK and doesn't flow out the bottom. One bag was punctured and salt was leaking out into the box, but that's minor. It tastes salty as it should, and is iodized which is a major accomplishment. We also have the Himalayan salt(s) but they have no iodine and that's an essential nutrient -- thus this purchase. Since it does work in our grinder, we'll buy again.

Updated: A Good Iodized Substitute for Morton's Kosher... If you get a good batch.
Switched from Morton's Kosher to this sea salt because it contains iodine. The crystal size is comparable to Morton's Kosher Salt, so a pinch feels very similar in the fingers. It tastes a little less salty than Morton's from the package, but I haven't tried cooking with it yet.UPDATE:I recently ordered this salt for the second time. This time, the salt crystals are very inconsistent. Very large crystals mixed with very fine crystals and even some lumps of powder make it difficult to season by hand. Large crystals don't dissolve as quickly as the smaller, uniform crystals in the last batch I ordered, leaving food unpleasantly crunchy and sometimes overseasoned.

Quite salty
Take this old saltโs opinion with a pinch of salt, but this salt is worth its salt. A spectacular salt of the sea, this salt is salty. I suggest not rubbing this salt in wounds. Instead, grind to desired fineness to finesse flavors of fine foods.

SALT indeed.
Looks like salt. Smells like salt. Tastes like salt. I use it mostly for food, but I did sprinkle some on a slug one evening and it does what salt does.
