I accidentally ruined my hifiman cable with my chair. doh! Was skeptical at first buying an off brand. but the hifiman is $129! what? so I bought this one.It sounds different to me at first, but after time, sounds exactly like the original and my headphones are back. plus it looks better. overall happy and would recommend.

It's a high quality, nice looking cable with reliable connectors that won't cut out on you after a month of use (I have had many terrible experiences buying cables on amazon...)The only problem I have is that it's a bit TOO solid, as in the cable is stiff and prone to holding deformations if you don't keep it neatly coiled. My headphones sit at my desk whenever I'm not using them and I'll admit I don't always keep the cable as neat as I should. Over time it's developed some permanent kinks which don't look amazing but thus far have not compromised the sound quality.That said, I am writing this over a year after purchasing this cable and it's served me very well. If it was a bit cheaper I wouldn't complain at all and just give it 5 stars, but for this price I think it's worth pointing out the flaws. I still recommend it though, just treat it better than I did.

I used this to replace the awful cable included with my HiFiMAN Edition XX, and while I didn't detect any difference in sound quality good or bad, they are MUCH nicer looking, and not as rigid or prone to kinking. One very minor complaint is occasionally the L and R cables rub against each other which sends unpleasant vibrations into the headphone housing, but that's fairly rare. For the price you really can't beat these, and they solve a rather glaring problem on some otherwise excellent headphones for not much money.

The plastic uses to make this is super stiff and feels like clamshell packaging in the hand. It also looks like something made in 2000. Mine also came in packaging that had obviously been opened and returned, so didn’t even get a new one.Getting to the sound quality: it reflects the quality of the materials used. Sound is muted (I had to turn up my volume after swapping cables), and unbalanced. The right was much quieter than the left, which makes no sense. Save yourself the time and money, don’t buy this.

Like many people, I was skeptical at first about cables making a difference in the sound — boy was I wrong! In the past I've tried different cheap cables and not heard much of a difference and recently tried a Youkamoo Silver plated cable that actually sounded worse than the stock hifiman cable. Then I ordered this Newfantasia silver plated cable for my hifiman edition XS based on a recommendation from another amazon reviewer (thank you to whoever you are!) and couldn't be more blown away by it!! Essentially, this cable brings back/restores so much vibrancy/higher frequency content that I didn't realize was being lost with cheaper cables or cables made with other materials! For folks that have a bright headphone/setup perhaps these are not for you, however, for anyone looking to bring back the clarity or presence to their headphones (in my case restoring the high end lost by installing dekoni pads on my hifiman) these are a godsend! NewFantasia please restock this 3.5mm size I would love to order more!!! Can't recommend these enough, an outstanding value, would give 10 stars if I could!!!

I bought these for the Sundara march 2021. They lasted up until today when the right side stopped working for some reason. Not too bad for the price but before this there were audio issues at the jack that plugged into my amp. I would need to twist it around so it could start producing audio. Overall for the price not terrible. Might be worth it to just do a one time purchase of some very high quality cables.

Great cable! Looks and sounds great! One thing to make sure of before buying is to check the jack size on your Massdrop 4XX's. The cable was supposed to be compatible with my 4XX's but wern't because the jacks on my phones were 2.5mm. I had to buy 2x 3.5-2.5mm adapters to make them fit. I couldn't find the same cable with 3.5mm- 2.5mm ends, listed on Amazon. The adapters turned out fine as they are quite small and didn't make the fittings too long. I also have a these cables on my Massdrop Sennheiser 6XX's. My only "complaint" of the cable is that they are a little stiff. Overall I am very pleased with these cables!
