Long lasting kitty caps
How long did they last? A long time! I just took in an adult cat who has never worn claw caps in his life, so even though he was farely calm when I placed them on his claws, he most certainly did not like them. For the first few day, he bit them, and chewed them, and pulled them, trying to get them off, and they stayed on. It has been a few weeks now and only a couple have fallen off after normal activity. So far, these are the best caps I have gotten from this brand. Was the description accurate? Absolutely! I wanted bright orange caps for my kitty, and I got bright orange caps. They were slightly too small for him, but that is my fault and I am used to buying caps for a kitten, not an adult cat.Are they worth the price? Yes and no. I know I can find caps that are just as good for a lower price. They are great because of how long they have stayed on, but I paid close to $10 for only 20 caps. So if you want to spend that much for 20 caps, go for it.

I am more mad at me for falling for this!
Not even the soft claw brand can save your sofa, but this product is far worse than that. And since I've used both in the time span of having 2 new sofa's 1 outshines the other. Well, maybe I should put it another way. I got less damages with the other brand. NO, I do not work for or am in any way affiliated with SOFT CLAW. I'm a single guy who LOVES his freaking cat's to death. They are my world. One more bonus is the pricing. I have two cats and 20 nails just won't cut it and it's too expensive adding those shipping charges. SOOO much cheaper buying the set of 40 with 2 glue bottles. If you have multiple cat's, you're on the wrong page. One product also looks a lot better than the other but you can't tell until you actually have seen both. I dare you to compare.I assure you I check at a minimum of 1x a day because one of my crafty cats is twice as good at getting these things off, and when I goof up and order purdy paws like I did this time, I have to assume my money just got flushed down the pipes and sofa number 3 will be a lot quicker in coming. There must be something about the cleat lock system the competitor mentions. This product and those like it make for different situations for every cat and household. THIS is my experience.Oh well, I like shopping for furniture.A couple of weeks later... My cat is going through these like a child goes through candy. The fur around the couple of nails I have to keep replacing has no fur anymore. She looks pathetic and now I'm afraid to put them on anymore because it is literally bald. I ordered Soft Paws today but it might be a while before I apply them. I think she's okay, but better safe than sorry. I hate throwing money in the garbage!

Perfect fit for my Big Tom
After $300 worth of damage to my boyfriends $3k sofa I had to think of something to ensure we (me and my 2 cats) could cohabit peacefully with the bf. I was able to get these on really easy for my male cat, but my little spit-fire female required me to take her to the vet to get them on. These have humanely saved all of the furniture and carpeting in our new home, and we all are living in a much more peaceful manner, no more evil glares from either party when the kitties launch themselves onto the new leather sofas. If you need visual aids to help you get these on your felines paws, just search Youtube for 'soft paws' or 'kitty nail caps'. There are tons of videos of how to get these on your cats feet.

Works well enough
These nail caps work fairly well. They did not stay on the advertised 4-6 weeks and some came off as quick as 2 weeks. The kit only comes with one tube of glue and application tip. By keeping it in the fridge the glue didn't clog the applicator tip but if it had I can imagine it would be hard to reapply nail caps after they shed off. One kit lasted about a month using them only on the front claws and replacing the fallen off nail caps. This is a good product for the price and I will continue to buy and use them.

I really like this product (2nd time ordering) and I'll order it ...
I really like this product (2nd time ordering) and I'll order it again, but I hope in the future they are more diligent about sorting through the soft caps, I got a defective one ( the tip of one cap was gone rendering it useless).Other then that it preforms it's purpose, no shredded couchs or scratched up wooden surfaces here. Also love the fun colors! And if you are a crazy cat lady like me, it's an excuse to match nails.

Works Great!
I have a soon to be 9 year old cat who never really scratched, until I bought a new couch! I tried buying the plastic guards for the corners of the couch only to find that he would sit on the arm and scratch at it that way. My brother and his wife have used these on their cats for years and I thought they were nuts! I was totally wrong. I purchased them recently and have loved them! They were easy to put on, he got used to them rather quickly, and my couch has not been ruined! The price is also good. I looked at other websites and these were by far the most affordable!

Instead of declawing, use these
If you put them on correctly, they will stay on for several weeks. Or until your little ball of fur chews them off. Then you just replace them. No big deal. These help 'save' your furniture as well as your OWN skin from scratches. The cat does not seem to mind them, once they are on. Although they may fight you or squirm quite a bit while you are installing them. But it ONLY takes 2-3 seconds to slide them on the trimmed nail. But don't trim the nail too short or there will be nothing for it to adhere to and it will come off rather easily.

great product!
we got these for our kitten and they have been great! I recommend them, as they save furniture from being damaged and people being scratched. they are easy to put on and kitty doesn't mind them. even if she ate them, they wouldnt hurt her, they are nontoxic. be sure after the first application to run a safety pin or bent paperclip through the pink applicator tip so the glue doesn't seal it off and you can use it on the second round of putting the nail caps on...there is more than one set in a package, but only one applicator tip.
