Perfect Toddler Fence/play area (ages 2.5 and under )
For the life of me - I could not find anything that wasn’t a small “playpen” to keep my one and a half year old contained in our yard. He’s been running since 9 months and we just got a house basically on a highway that we can’t afford to fence in yet. This dog pen was easy to assemble and works perfectly to keep our little sprinter contained so the adults can actually relax in our backyard.Perfect for toddlers! At least the little ones. Our very tall 3 year old can easily climb over it - but she knows enough to stay away from the front of our yard near the street . But for anyone in a similar situation- this is worth it for your tiny human. We also keep their summer pool in there frequently. It’s about 12 -15 feet around and plenty of room. It’s not super sturdy but it works for now. Sturdy enough assuming the kids aren’t trying to drag it. So far it’s survived my 3 year old constantly climbing over it.Very pleased so far!

Perfect for my catio!
I bought two sets to go around the perimeter of my patio to create a catio area. The cats seem to like it, and after about a month they haven't tried to jump over it or climb it. The panels seem sturdy enough for my cats, but I could see a larger dog crashing though it maybe. I have one cat who weighs 22lbs and could probably put his front paws on the top rail if he wanted to. He is a big cat. The panels are easily arranged in any shape you can imagine. Both boxes came with some holes in them from shipping. The cardboard seems very brittle. But the contents were undamaged, and are well wrapped and bundled. If I need more panels I will continue to buy these as they are a good value and work great for my purpose. The photos feature is broken at the moment. I'll try to add a photo if/when it starts working again.

Good with a few tweaks
We put 2 of these together to create a large indoor pen for our puppy while he is potty training. This works pretty well, but can use a few tweaks to improve it. Our puppy is about the size of a cat and is about 7 pounds. One and a half of these units created a 6 x 12 play area, or something close to that for him.PROS:- This is nice and tall. That is why I chose it. Our last (medium sized) puppy figured out how to climb and jump out of our last pen very quickly, rendering it useless. There is no way this puppy can escape this pen when we are out.- It is easily expandable with additional units and is very flexible (good and bad), so it can be arranged to fit almost any space.- It’s pretty easy to put together and only takes a few minutes. It helps to have 2 people for sure, and then it’s really easy. You line up the holes in adjacent panels and drop in a metal rod.- Can be used indoors or out (supposedly, although I wonder if the spikes are really long and thick enough to keep it stable.)CONS:- It is quite flexible in every direction. Our puppy isn’t big/strong enough to move the sides much, but our 40 pound dogs could easily bend the sides (at the hinges) both in and out. This was very frustrating, as pulling the spikes off the whelping pad could scratch the hardwood floors. We ended up using a bamboo pole and some wooden rods from the craft store to stabilize the sides with duct tape. It doesn’t look great, but it really works to keep it in a rectangle.- The door comes off the hinge WAY too easily and is a bit hard to line up to put it back on. After accidentally lifting it off 20 times, I added some duct tape to at least make it harder.- the metal spikes that hold the sides together can easily scratch your floors if you use it inside. We put it on 2 large, waterproof whelping pads (highly recommended) to protect the floors. Some plastic caps for indoor use would be a great addition tothe set.- the metal locks on the door are loud and noisy and irritating. I added duct tape where metal touches metal to decrease the noise, which helped.- It’s kinda ugly in the house, but hopefully it’s just temporary.BOTTOM LINE: This is a good pen for a small to medium dog with a few tweaks. Recommended for this purpose.

Works to keep toddlers from running outside of safe play area
We have twins and as soon as they could run they would run and think it's hilarious that we have to chase each of them but can't chase both at the same time. Fun for them, but when playing outside we needed to create a barrier until they learned that they can't just run off as far as they want to go. This was a great low profile solution. It's small and mostly out of side. Easy to take down when hurricane season comes. This worked well to keep the children in a safe area AND to let the dog play in the front yard with them. It lasted almost 2 years before we took it down from the front and moved it to the back yard. Now it keeps the dog out of the kids play area in the back. Still going strong after two years.Wasn't cheap but it was a good choice considering we're still using it. We also put some around the central AC unit out back to keep dogs and children away from it.

Unleashed yet still respectful in the campground
I'm so glad to have this handy fence. We took it camping soon after delivery. It set up quickly and easily. I was able to configure it against our trailer creating easy access for our 3 small dogs. I used all the pieces (half would have been too small). The dogs were very content and could move around comfortably. It was way nicer than constantly having to untangle their leashes that are required by most campgrounds. The 16 panels are bulky and take up some precious cargo space but still worth it. Panels don't anchor to the ground making it easy to adjust the shape and location but probably would not contain larger dogs or those that like to dig or jump. The gates were nice for the dogs but not necessary for us as we could easily step over the panels. Whenever the dogs are with us, this fence will be part of our normal camping gear.
