Replacement for the Wagin Train chicken treats
As you are probably aware by now, there is a big issue with pressed meat dog treats made in China. Waggin' Train, the best regarded of this class of item, has recently pulled their chicken treats off the shelf because of traces of antibiotics in the product. Costco has replaced Waggin' Train with this brand of duck treat. I have tried them and the dogs like them just as well and so far the dogs have shown no ill effects. Use at your own risk but I am taking the chance, at least so far.

Good if the you have more than one dog.
My dog liked it at first but after a while he didn't want it any longer. I think it was a freshness thing, If he could talk I am sure he would tell me why. I wish they would make better packages for this with an easier open and close feature.

Cadet Duck Breast Fillet
You can't find duck jerky anywhere these days so I'm so grateful to have this. Wish it was a bit more jerky looking like Canyon Creek. My dog does enjoy Cadet and he's the pickiest snacker ever! You can't go wrong with Cadet.

My Dogs' Favorite of All
I have 2 dogs; a Weimarner and a Beagle, both 2 1/2 years old. Do I spoil them? Oh, yes! As a retired Senior, I have thetime to dote on my pups. ,they have tasted many of the dog chews out there and unfortunately they've become fussy.I can say that with their 'experienced' palette, these duck breast treats are by far their favorite. I always give the pups a treat and achew bone before I leave the house. When the treat happens to be this duck breast, they immediately go to their cratesand wait for it. While they are munching on the treat, they hardly notice that I am leaving the house. So, I can leave without'guilt'. The two things that I wish were different with the duck breast treat is that they came in a short strip, about3" x1". The dogs devour them quickly. The next concern is that duck is fattening. Although the dogs love this treat,I'd imagine that it is certainly adding to the caloric intake. Other than those issues, my dogs just love them.I'd certainly recommend them, especially as a training treat.

Not happy dogs.
My dogs are very picky dogs, they did not like these so well. Darn don't know why they are so particular.

My Yorkie LOVES this!!
When they stopped selling the duck tenders at my Pets Mart I was EXTREMELY upset because my Yorkie Just LOVES duck tenders. I tried another one from some other brand (on Amazon) but they were TERRIBLE, they looked more like dry treats and she wouldn't even try them (she's VERY PICKY), they even smelled horrible! Anyhow, she ABSOLUTELY LOVES these duck breast fillets and I like them because they are'nt all dry looking but actually moist. Do wish I could find them at my local Pets Mart so when she runs out I can go and get them right away; would of course also be nice if she would like OTHER treats but she simply does not, she ONLY likes duck tenders. These are GREAT, absolutely worth it!!!

Just a little too thick
I have a small dog that loves duck treats, but since he is small these are a little thick for small dogs and so he can't chew all the treats. Waggin Train had the right thickness and it's been hard to find thin one's since they had a recall.

Treat for Diabetic Dogs
I have a diabetic dog who is 10 years old. She requires 2 mainline insulin injections aday. Those of you who have dealt with or know of diabetes understand the hardship of the disease. Looking for appropiate animal treats or goodies for your pet is a real problem, getting them to eat properly is another. These DUCK TREATS have a bit of vegetable glycerin on them but not enough to make a difference. They provide me with alot of much needed in between meals down time and still keep my dog healthy. Just follow the instructions and it's OK to cheat.
