WOW. Just... WOW.
The media could not be loaded. I am going out of town for a few weeks to visit my brother and Ma in Oregon for two weeks (surprising my brother for his birthday; he's got NO idea I'm coming! ^_^) and then up to Washington (state) to visit some friends and family for a week. I don't normally write reviews, just do the "star rating" and call it a day.HOWEVER. Y'ALL. Listen. When I tell you that I am blown away by this bag... WOW. I just... WOW.So, check it out:I love star gazing. LOVE IT. I also love photography. Back home (Pacific Northwest), there is more country and rural areas than there are cities to clog up the night sky. I bought a telescope a couple of years ago and haven't been able to do ANY stargazing where I live. I wanted to take my telescope and my cameras with me on my trip, but I could not figure out a way that would be efficient AND inexpensive to do so, short of having to ship my telescope and tripods out ahead of me and then just pack a bag and hop the train. I reached out to my Astronomy professor and asked for any ideas he might have on how to take a telescope for traveling across country, and he said he wasn't able to think of anything, offering maybe tubes like you'd use for posters and such. The design of the telescope I have, the tube idea probably would be a bit of a beast to figure out. After weeks - since pretty much before I booked my tickets four months ago for the summer - I have been SCOURING the interwebs to find a solution that would work. I found this beauty. It only cost me $41.01 after tax, and it got here today. It is not easy to really blow my mind when it comes to luggage, right, but this? I'm SPEECHLESS. It's sturdy, there's LOTS of room in there, I am LOVING the wheels are smooth to roll across the floor (even on my carpet!), AND the padded handle on the end where the telescope handle is, it's comfortable for my hand.I was going to just wrap my telescope and tripods up in fleece blankets and stash them in the bottom compartment, but I decided to try to see if the boxes would fit. AND THEY DO. So, I have the boxes that the scope and the tripod for the scope came in stored in the bottom compartment, and between them, there was enough room for my tripod for my cameras. In the main pouch, I have my camera bag that has ALL my camera stuff, including my photography journal, AND I still have enough room to put a week's worth of clothing in there. I'm used to "military rolling" my clothes (this is to fit a lot of clothes in one small space, even thicker stuff like jeans, hoodies, and the like, been doing this for years, HIGHLY recommend!). This should fit on the train pretty well in the luggage compartment, it's about the same length as my old little suitcase was. BUT IT'S SO STURDY. The lower compartment, all zipped up with both boxes inside, the zipper isn't stressed at all. It's not bulging and threatening to rip open. The texture of the bag is sensory-friendly (to me), and I can easily use the side compartments for "wet pouches" to stash toiletries - shower stuff, specifically - into without issue, and without needing to spend extra dollars on travel-sized bottles that I might only use once a year.Once I get back, the bag will be unpacked, I can just collapse the bag part itself down, store it in my closet or under my bed without having to struggle to find room for it, even though there's rods in there for the telescope handle for pulling the bag across the terminals.I am going to FOR SURE order another one again when I get ready to move back home. I love the price, I love the sturdiness of the bag, I love, love, LOVE how roomy this thing is!

Worked so well for so many years, I bought two more
We have had four of these for almost 10 years, and finally, one of them started shedding the material around the inside of the zipper, so it was time to retire it. The other three are going strong and we were pleased that these new ones are made identically to the originals we already had. The additional bottom storage compartment is great for taking clothes, towels, sheets, whatever is bulky. This is a great value in a travel duffel - holds an extraordinary amount of stuff!

Poorly made- didn't survive one trip.
I am writing this review as my return window expired before I returned from my trip. I purchased 2 of these and had issues with both.I ordered these bags specifically for a hiking trip to Switzerland because I needed a rolling duffel. When I received it, the plastic wrap was in rough shape (pic 1)- not from shipping, the box was fine. I gave the bag a quick glance and set it aside as there was no readily apparent damage other than a scuff mark from a conveyor maybe on the lower section. (pic 2).When I started packing for my trip, I noticed a small hole in the end pocket lining. This grew dramatically over the course of the trip (pic 3). Neither would be catastrophic and I did not have time to order a replacement at this point. The bag made it through our flight and to the hostel with no real issues other than the hole in the end pocket getting larger. I only packed the bag about 1/2 full, total weight about 35 lbs. Plenty of room for souvenirs! On the second leg of our journey, the bag ceased its primary function as a rolling duffel. The bag has no axle, just a thin sheet of plastic lining the bottom with the two vertical support bars that compose the extension handle running up the center. I heard the bag scraping the pavement and stopped to inspect. Basically, the bag bowed between the wheels kicking one wheel out at an angle, allowing the bag to drag the ground. I had to carry it as a second back pack almost a mile to the second hostel in the heat after traveling all day. I was not happy. Before leaving, I cut a small board which I jammed between the plastic bottom and the bars composing the handle to provide support the imaginary axle that comes standard. This fix got me all the way home without further incident. This bag could have been awesome if the internal handle structure included a small horizontal T frame to support the wheels and the stitching of the pocket was better but as far as I am concerned it was a total fail.Do not buy this bag. Or, be prepared to install an axle and reinforce your stitching prior to use. It is a rolling duffel that isn't built to roll, even when only partially loaded.

not expensive, lasts about 1-2 years of 100k mi. per year traveling
I travel 125k + per year. This bag works great and lasts, though starts to break down a bit after a year or so, I've had to sew up the zippers a few times and patch the bottom part by the wheels (can place a piece of plastic or an economy dinner tray in that part--see picture--to help add additional brace for the bag. That said, holds a ton, (when everyone else has to check luggage I can shove this in the smallest compartments)....the telescopic handles never break and nor do the wheels (though they are loud on tile floors, also works for people to hear me walking behind them if they are stopped and blocking, for instance, the moving walkway). I just end up purchase a new one every few years. Good deal, pictures attached are from a bag I used almost two years...

Destroyed by TSA at the Chicago Port of Entry
I used the bag on a number of out of country trips to mostly carry my gear. Held up well especially when I added straps. This bag holds a lot of stuff and is not considered oversized. Made it through many Customs checkpoints and ports of entry but, the TSA at the Chicago O'Hare Port of entry evidently hires TSA personnel that have no idea how to use a zipper. They ripped pout every zipper pull on the bag then generously taped it all back together, The TSA also denied my claim for reimbursement. Despite that, it's a good rolling duffle.

practica, amplia y comoda
muy practica para viajar en avion sin tener que documentarla, y las ruedas hacen que sea muy comodo caminar con ella en el aeropuerto o en cualquier otro lugar

Nice quality
Adequate space for packing variety of items. Quality seems quite good, cannot comment on durability yet as have only used once but no issues so far.
