Superb and Beautiful, especially for the price.
Superb acoustic electric cutaway guitar. It is more beautiful than its pictures, I can tell it is not super expensive however as an experienced guitar player and owner i know how to care for an instrument. When cared for and treated properly the guitar sounds phenomenal. This guitar has less bass response due to its size, as a result it is less boomy which is desirable when playing with other instruments in the mix, the lack of low end can be overcome with its EQ by plugging it into an amp or DI. The EQ came equipped with a 9 volt battery wrapped and ready to set up. For the price I have no encountered a better deal and for a guitar i blindly purchased hoping it would play well i was not disappointed. The guitar is very light, the wood in places like the bridge is a tad softer than on more expensive models, and the finish if the guitar is dropped may chip. That being said, treat this guitar well and it will be worth every penny. I restrung it with elixir posphor bronze size ten and it seems an appropriate gauge for this guitar.

Not a 1000 dollar guitar...doesnt need to be!!!!
GREAT DEAL!!!!!! To be honest, I saw the color of the instrument first and fell in love. I know that's not a great reason to buy a guitar but that's what happened. I read some initial reviews and they seemed stellar so I pulled the trigger and shelled out 150.00 for this guitar. After placing my order I scrolled down the list of reviews and was dismayed to find some seriously bad reviews about bad strings and warped bridges and necks(one even said it "smelled funny"...what does that even mean?). I was terrified that I'd thrown my money away! FORTUNATELY...Out of the box this guitar was immaculate and once properly tuned it played beautifully! I've been a musician for nearly thirty years and I've had my share of cheap, poorly constructed equipment, but this is not one of those! I just cant see the need of "some people" who denigrate something because it works but doesn't live up to unreasonable expectations. This guitar sounds awesome! If you want to record something that sounds like a $1000 acoustic...DON'T BUY A $150.00 INSTRUMENT!!!!! This guitar is completely serviceable for either a live band or home studio!

The guitar sounds good and has a nice tone however the green color ...
So I bought this guitar because I was on a budget and I must say that I was rather impressed. The guitar sounds good and has a nice tone however the green color is not as vibrant as it shows on the amazon web page. All and all this is a pretty good guitar for the price. If your on a budget this is for you.

Excellent Guitar For Beginners And Experienced Musicians Alike
I absolutely love this guitar, I got it to begin learning to play using Rocksmith 2014 which it is great for. It tunes and plays very well right out of the box, looks immaculate to boot. My roommate who has several high end guitars actually stated it plays better than some of his more expensive ones, highly recommend buying this if you are looking for an excellent guitar.

Unplayable due to excessive string buzz
This guitar is beautiful, it is just as in the picture. Sound-wise this guitar is terrible. This is the second one that I tried, the first one was completely unplayable due to EXCESSIVE string buzz. Amazon sent me a replacement which I was told 'would be inspected by quality assurance for playability' - yeah right. Obviously whoever (if anyone) who inspected this guitar has never touched a guitar before. The second one was 90% better but still had excessive string buzz on the E, D, G strings. I requested my money back. I don't understand it, I ordered a green one, same model and style and it tuned up great and plays very well for the price paid, maybe the blue ones are cursed?

Dissappointed
I received this guitar today, and I'm returning it, the package arrived damaged, it was old cardboard and was torn on the top, I am not sure if this was the carriers fault, however as I inspected the guitar I noticed it was very dirty, had what seemed to be ketchup on it? the body full of fingerprints, it rattled on the inside when shaken, also it had two big scrapes at the end of the head in the back. The whole guitar is cheaply made and the paint job seemed cheap and unfinished around the sound hole, the neck also had a few bumps not sanded properly, and the machineheads seemed brittle and cheap sort of what you buy at an outdoor plastic chinese toy store. the front finish was marred and I couldn't remove the mar from it even after cleaning it.The fret job was very bad and not properly filed. It seems the people who made this guitar had no love for what they were doing also the packagers could've done a better job. I guess it's o.k if you're a beginner it sounds alright good sustain and crisp attack, easy to play fast fingerings on the fretboard but the more experience you are the more discriminate you become for instruments and it just wasn't for me, maybe I got a Dud, I don't know. The guitar does look pretty but its lacking in so many ways, well enough of me you make your own choices. This is just my review I hope you have better luck if you are a potential buyer.

It's not that great- I returned it
I bought this for my son just to fool around with. He's a great piano player, a school band trumpet player, taught himself ukulele- so I thought a guitar might be nice. His favorite color is green, so really that is what attracted me to this. When I go it I was unimpressed. It was full of sawdust, the finish was horrible, there was something vibrating on the body every time you plucked a string, the guitar wouldn't stay tuned for 5 minutes. To make a long story short- I walked into Sweetwater music here in Fort Wayne (I live about 10 minutes away). Someone helped us right away, and didn't try to upsell us or anything. He recommended this Epiphone DR-100 which only cost $99 (it was on sale that day). This thing was light years better. The sound was much better, the quality was a whole different level for fit and finish. My son even gets a free guitar lesson from the purchase (worth about $30). Bottom line is with instruments it's totally worth going somewhere and seeing what you're purchasing and trying it out. Not only did we find a better guitar, but it was almost $50 cheaper and included a free guitar lesson. I did keep the ChromaCast Acoustic Guitar 6-Pocket Padded Gig Bag- that was a decent purchase and the Epiphone DR-100 fits in there perfectly.
