Summit TreestandsSurround Seat, Mossy Oak Camo

I’ve had my Summit Viper for 15 years now, and needed to replace the seat. This seat is great. Very comfortable once you get the straps set to your comfort level. The seat is very quiet. I primarily bow hunt, so the amount of noise my stand makes when I stand up to prepare a shot at close range is very crucial. I recently had a deer sneak up on me, and was within 50 yards before I noticed it. I was able to grab my bow and slowly stand up without alerting it. The winds were dead calm also, so any noise would have been noticed by the deer. All in all, great product for the price.

This seat is a excellent replacement for my summit climber. Very comfortable and on a cold windy day it helps with the side ro block some of rhe wind

I waited to write this review until after I had a chance to climb a tree and plant my back side in this seat for for a few hours.My summary is that it’s very comfortable, with plenty of cushion and no pressure points. The covered sides made it much nicer that the original seat my stand came with. I love the quick detach system so I can take it with me when I want to leave my stand. When the time comes to buy a new climbing tree stand I would probably also put this seat on it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing a new seat.Oh yea’ comfort, thickness,(why?) and value for money.

The surround seat is comfortable and a good value. However, there is a manufacturing defect in the one i received. The mounting straps that connect to your climber did not have the same brackets on all four straps. 3 of the 4 where correct(male & female clips) but 1 had 2 male clips. Strap was long enough to tie it in a not and make it work though, lol.Comfort would be a 4 star also. All climber seats are a cushion with straps underneath them. This makes them flex and cutcoff circulation in the legs, i would suggest adding a zipper so something could be inserted between the straps and cushion to give you something stable.

When I bought this, in my head I was thinking about how much more comfortable the seat would be than what came with my Summit Viper years ago (not that the stock seat is that uncomfortable anyway). Having said that, now that having this new seat, it honestly is not that noticeable of a difference when it comes to being “more comfortable”. BUT, where it earns its 5 stars is in the overall design. The way this seat attaches is extremely secure, AND comes off so easily that on the occasions I leave my treestand hanging at the base of the tree I can easily take the seat off so it doesn’t get wet/damp.The internal pockets are also great for storing those small hunting items/binoculars when needed, and also the options of putting handwarmers in the pockets is very nice on those cold/windy days.This seat was worth the money. Though I thought I was buying it for comfort (which it is comfortable), I ended up keeping it and liking it because of the overall design and options it gives you that my original seat did not.

Very comfortable seat, and it really does help keep you warm... providing your able to get your arms down to your sides inside the seat.. Only drawback to this seat is the VELCRO they used for the pockets... I dont know where everybody hunts... but if I start "ripping" velcro apart at anytime during my hunt... i might as well climb down and go home... Simple fix was to buy velcro strips from Walmart and just stick the opposites together so they dont stick together..
