The Tail is the Down Side
I would give it 5 stars but the tail keeps me from doing that it comes with a replacement tail. The first 2 fish I caught with it also lost both tails. The tail is removable. But comes off way too easy. Great action on the water though.

Nice Product --Good Price
This RAT catches much bigger than average Largemouth Bass. I guess it's because it looks very realistic and has a natural movement in the water.

Great deal
This is by far the most satisfied I’ve ever been with a lure, especially from Amazon. This thing swims great and looked incredibly convincing in the water. I got a follow from a 40”+ musky on my third cast with the black version. Incredible product.

awesome lure
I did not have any luck on this lure this year but love the look and the action, guess I didn't put it in front of the right fish :(

Catches Fishermen but not so much Fish
Don't get me wrong Savage gear is making great lures. But some of them like the 3D Rat are more made to catch the person buying it because it looks so realistic,...but the lures action is below average. As a guide I can throw the SPRO Rat on every guests rod to catch fish. He does not know how to fish it,...just a steady retrieve to feel and see maximum action. I do not know if a Musky ever will see the whiskers of the Savage gear Rat,...but they for sure do not turn around because the SPRO Rat does not have any!!! In addition you need the right technique to make the Savage gear move the way you want. I did catch some Pike and Musky on the Savage gear Rat,...but it is much harder to fish, has a lot less action (no noise) and the tail gets bitten off just to easy!
