Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 40 mm - Rose Gold (UK Version)

Great little watch. The wife loves it. After 3 other types of Smartwatch , eventually got her onto a Samsung. Not quite as nifty as my Galaxy Watch, but she wanted something smaller anyway.Great value for money. Only gripe for me is the battery life . You would probably have to charge it every day , but the magnetic charging pad is neat enough.She rates it as very comfortable , Big enough , easy to read sharp clear screen, and for the first time EVER , it tracks her activities properly . Job done .Looks very dressy too !.

This is my 4th attempt with a Samsung smart watch - however my first time with the Active Watch. Fantastic, I am very pleased!To wear, its very light, not too bulky so haven't knocked it. The strap is lovely and soft - and doesn't look or feel cheap. Fits really well - and came with the option of 2 sizes, and doesn't unclip accidentally.Software seems fast, responsive and keeps track of my activity well (Pilates, Running, Walking etc). With my Samsung phone it all connected well together, receiving notifications, responding to messages, incoming calls and controlling my music for my phone through my watch.The screen is clear, responsive with loads of watch faces to choose from! Its a shame the screen doesn't go all the way to the edge - but not enough to rate it lower.I haven't tried the swimming function as this seemed to break my other Samsung watches so don't trust Samsung's waterproof claim.

If you're the kind of person who wants a watch that will last for days of use without charging then this isn't for you, I'd say the average battery life is between 1-2 days which to be honest, is poor for a smart watch. It does however look really sleek and I get a lot of compliments for it. The apps are good and the notifications never let me down, the watch faces are cool and all in all I really like it as a gadget. The strap is very comfortable and appears to be high quality, it's never come undone in the 3 months I've had it.

This is a good looking watch and unlike many I have had before, the wrist strap is really comfortable. The downside is finding out what the different features are and what they mean , I have looked on google, YouTube and the like but its really trial and error i payed for several different watch faces, but somehow lost them during my trials, we really need a good info video, on set up and all aspects of user info. all in all having said that it is a nice watch and seems okay at tracing, once you have it set up Properly

I love my watch. I wear it all day every day. It was really easy to set up with my Samsung phone. I get all my Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp notifications to my phone. I like that I can also use it as a remote for my spotify account. The watch faces you get with it are boring but you can download more. The strap is very comfortable and doesn't pinch. So far no scratches on the watch face and I've been using it solid for a month now, I've even had it in water a few times and it has been absolutely fine. It charges really fast and lasts for over 24 hours. I love how it records my sleep, it's really fascinating to see the chart in the morning. I would highly recommend this watch even if you don't want it for the active aspect. The only downside is that the microphone isn't good at picking up what you say but that doesn't bother me as I don't use that enough.

Most days I like to wear this watch, regardless of weather I'm exercising or not. I always wear it when I'm out and about. I'm not entirely sure about the accuracy, because I've not got anything else to contradict it, but it's helped me to understand how and when I need to move to burn the most amount of calories with the least effort- because I'm lazy!I've lost about a stone in weight since I bought it, and it's really helped me to be more motivated just to go for a walk, or do 10 squats here or just move about the house. It feels like I'm not making much effort, but I am. Love it.I used to wear it every night to bed, but after a few months, I didn't feel it could help me with getting more sleep, but very fascinated in the reports it produced in the mornings.The only thing that annoyed me was that it has the capacity to measure my blood pressure, but there's only one app to use and it's such a fuss, as you have to answer so many questions about your day, before it will tell you what you measurements are, to give over to, for example, a doctor that you're on the phone with, because they don't do appointments in person these days! It's too much hassle- why can't you just take you blood pressure with just the watch and not bother with any phone apps, like it does with your heart rate? Long story short, I don't use this feature any more.I like that I can change the display to one that suits me and change the strap if I wanted to buy another one, so it feels like a whole new watch. The strap that came with it feels nice against my wrist- no friction, but can get a bit sweaty if I'm working out.The battery also doesn't last long- around two days of continuous use and the charger can only use USB. I'd have to steal the plug from my phone charger to charge it, or plug into my computer if it's already on. The lead isn't long though.Overall I do love this watch and try to wear it most days. Would definitely recommend.

Bought this for my wife who is so pleased with the watch, great piece of kit & a doddle to set up on her phone. Battery life is good now that she's stopped fiddling with it all the time. Full of really useful features & easy to change the face design & layout. Her phone is a Samsung so connects seamlessly to the watch & the watch also connects to WiFi so updates are a cinch. My wife is really pleased the watch as it helps with her daily routine and activities.
