Size Name:237 ml (Pack of 12) Product Description API CO2 Booster Freshwater Aquarium Plant Treatment promotes vibrant, healthy aquarium plants with easy-to-use liquid carbon, which is a necessary element used by aquarium plants for photosynthesis. It supplies a concentrated source of carbon in two forms: CO2, as well as simple, organic carbon compounds. This liquid treatment supplies simple carbon compounds and slowly releases CO2 that plants can absorb through the water. May be used alone or with a CO2 system. It is safe for use with freshwater fish and will not alter pH levels in aquariums. API Aquarium Treatment Supplies are designed to work in conjunction with each other to provide good results to control algae, promote healthy bacterial growth and help control and cure fish diseases and conditions such as inch and fin rot. They work to provide a safe, hospitable environment for fish such as tropical community fish, cichlids, goldfish and more. With API, you can spend more time admiring your fish, and less time scrubbing your tank. Make sure to use all products as directed in order to ensure the good results. Box Contains 1 x CO2 Booster Freshwater Aquarium Plant Treatment, Pack of 12

My plants look good!
This can be used in place of or with a CO2 system in an aquarium. Either way, the plants seem to flourish assuming they have everything else they need in terms of light and food.I use just 1ml every other day (64l tank with a number of plants) and after just a couple of weeks, the improvement is notable. Its not a miracle cure for plants but used correctly, its very effective.

Give it a few weeks to work !!
Really impressed with this c02 liquid,Give it chance to work , it took about 6 to 8 weeks before the significant change ....Algae more or less dissapeared, plant grown increased and my java fern stopped meltingI dose twice a day morning and evening keeping an eye on the water parameters.Seems the dosage guide is a little underestimated my tank is 90 litre so I mm every 38 litres ...on the bottle ...I'm dosing 3mm in the morning and 3 mm in the afternoon with no issues with fish or water peramametres.I've not tryed seacham flourish to compare but will when this runs out ...Overall good value for a low tech planted tank ! Just give it chance to work ......

Don't be scared just be careful and you will be rewarded!
Don't be scared just be careful and you will be rewarded! I read a lot of scary stories about this kind of product but what I have learnt (and read about) is only use a small amount and you will still get results. I use less than is recommended due to fear of hurting fish and I've had no issues at all. I use first thing in the morning while the tank is sleepy and before feeding and that is it. I treat it like any potent liquid, carefully and clean hands etc well.

Goods stuff, use wisely.
I have a low tech setup (no co2 tank) that is full of plants and they all thrive. I dose this most days and the api fertiliser once a week. Very good stuff. Make sure all your lighting hours are set correctly and you dont over fertilise else you will get a lot of unwanted algae. Once i figured out my ratios it was perfect.

Good
My plant growth has increased really well after using this. I have a 64l heavily planted tank and dose 1ml once every other day. I dont want to overdose because my light is quite low and the way im using it is working perfectly fine.

Actually works!
I was very happy with this product. Having used other fertiliser products with very limited results and not wanting to go down the road of buying and setting up a whole CO2 kit, I decided to try this.Within a week or two of dosing according to the instructions I noticed the difference in my plants - they were looking much better and growing more. Importantly, there were no adverse effects on the fish.Very happy with this product - waiting for my next delivery.

Think this works...
I can't see much of a difference when using this compared to when I didn't... I think as long as you use the correct lighting and continually use this you may notice more of a difference. It is so much easier to use compared to gas canisters though.
