Really nice feel to it, works well
I like the slight crinkle black finish, kind of 50's old school. It has a bit of heft for it's slim and small size which I like, and feels well made. Mine had no instructions and it took me a moment to realize the lighter is "armed" simply by opening the lid. Pressing the button will activate the arc. Here's the part I'm not so sure of and why I took off a star.....I was expecting the switch to be momentary, that is if I released it I expected the arc to cease. It did not!The arc will stop itself in 10 seconds so it must have some kind of a timer. It will also stop if the lid is closed. However it would clearly be safer if the arc stopped when finger pressure was taken off the button, since if you drop the lighter with the arc going, it's potentially going to light up your old 70's shag carpet, your cashmere sweater or the ultra dry duff around your campsite this summer. Just something to think of.
