Awclub 10"x6"x4"(250mm x 150mm x 100mm) Dustproof IP67 Junction Box DIY Case Enclosure Gray

This is a nice box but suffers from some horrible execution flaws:1. There is a large molded bump in the center of the inside surface of back of the box which prevents you from attaching anything perfectly flat to the back of the box.2. There are two molded studs on the inside back surface which contain a brass threaded insert, presumably to allow you to attach something to the inside of the box. Unfortunately, unless you are attaching something of just the right size that you can drill your own holes through, the chances of anything you have actually aligning with these studs is vanishingly small. Like point 1, this "feature" prevents you from attaching something to the back of the box unless it fits between the studs, or you grind them off.3. There are no punchout holes on the sides of the box.

I have to say, I am really impressed by this box. It has an added feature that a metal box cannot accomplish well and that is it can keep electronics completely dry inside. It has a rubber gasket and the way the screws hold the lid on, does not allow any area of entry for moisture to get inside. Screws are plastic too so they cannot rust. I feel this is something to consider when deciding between plastic versus metal.

The box itself is what I expected and is sturdy enough, but included no hardware to mount the box or to secure the lid.

This is about as cheaply made of a box as you can get. We’ll see if it holds up. I’m concerned about the life of the plastic screws provided.

Durable, high quality, and easy to drill and work. Used as a desktop housing for my variac. Very satisfied.

Not much to say. build quality seems good. I was able to clamp, cut, and drill on this box as needed without it shattering and the screws hold securely.I would buy this again.

I like the lid and the seals, particularly the sturdy plastic screws. Good enclosure for outdoors application.

The dimensions of the box weren't accurate so I wasn't able to use it where I bought it for, but the price and product quality was good enough to hang on to.
