Works great on leather
Used this to repair a + $200 pair of hiking boots. The boots have a non-removable plastic heel counter inside, so where the stitching on the heel unexpectedly and prematurely failed, one month past the end of the boot warranty, there was no way to repair by restitching. Tried a couple of other adhesives I've used for years such as E6000, Mast contact cement made for leather repair. Both held for a few weeks and then let go. This is on a boot, so whatever adhesive is used it has to be flexible. I've used cyanoacrylates for years but this is my first time to use a rubber-toughened one. There are actually 4 varieties of cyanoacrylate chemistry, including $35/1/4 ounce ampules used in surgery. I don't know what variety this stuff is, but by the way it handles, playing around with a few drops on various odds and ends in the shop, it appears this is much better than the cheap stuff you find in your local discount store. After I scraped all the old stuff out, I applied the rubber-strengthened cyanoacrylate, used several rounds of electrical tape stretched hard around the boot to hold the pieces together, and waited a full 24 hours. Weeks later it is still holding.I use adhesives professionally, and know from experience there is no way to know how long any cyanoacrylate has been sitting on a shelf since manufacture. You might get a month of use before it sets or 6 months. In the humid climate of the Deep South, I always store an opened bottle in the smallest sealed container that will hold it and a desiccant packet, and have sometimes gotten up to a year of use of of a bottle before it sets up. Hopefully this stuff will follow the same pattern. It's not cheap, but if I gave the boots another 6 months of life well worth it.Edit: 7 months later boot repair still good. I have hiked at least 100 miles since then, been caving in those boots. This stuff is amazing as long as you give it plenty of time to reach full cure.Edit 2 - It's now been a full year since the repair. The past 3 months, I have used these boots very aggressively while clearing timber, hike in them twice a week. the repair is still as good as ever.Edit 3 - September 2023. The sole has started coming off my boots, but the adhesive repair is still good.Edit 4 - January 2024. It's been 2 full years since my boot repair. The soles on the boots are now so worn there is no tread left, and I only use them for work in the shop they are so slick on the bottom. The adhesive repair is still holding up, looks like it did the day I fixed them 2 years ago. I've never seen anything bond to leather like this.I have done a lot of repairs with this adhesive since I bought it. Keeping it in an old pickle jar with a desiccant pack I have finally run out of the original bottle, but that is about as long as I have ever gotten from a cyanoacrylate bottle. Based on other repairs I have done there is less flex to this material than I originally thought, but it seems enough to be helpful on a variety of repairs. Some cyanoacrylates have methyl methacrylate (plexiglass) as a stabilizer, and this stuff acts in a similar manner. The rubber additive imparts a toughness I have not experienced in other cyanoacrylates, making it far less brittle. I use this a lot, but it has not worked on anything as well as the few leather repairs.

Outstanding product!
I was skeptical, but this glue has won me over and I am using I for all kinds of things. It dries quickly but stays flexible.

Used for speaker repair
I needed to refoam a set of 40 year old speakers. The new rings were vinyl and had a slight deformation. This stuff worked well attaching the vinyl ring to the speaker cone as well as the vinyl ring to the metal. Where there was the deformation in the vinyl ring, though, it did not work quite as well, but it worked well enough that my old speakers are alive again! The dispenser worked very well. It never 'gushed' out. I was able to control of the amount of glue being applied at all times.I am happy with this purchase and would definitely consider making it again.

IC-2000 Rubber-Toughened 1oz CA Adhesive Glue
This is the glue you are looking for if you are into the r/c car hobby. The tires on these high-powered radio control models endure a lot of force. Eventually, the glue holding the tires to the wheel rims gives way and you need to make a repair. Bob Smith Industries is THE gold standard for CA glue and the rubber-reinforced feature gives a longer-lasting and more durable adhesion for this particular use case.Accept no substitutions for your basher.

Great Glue for quick fixes on the job
This stuff is great if you work in the film or theatre industry. you can make fast and strong repairs on the fly and since its already black it blends in with most things. doesn't dry immediately but give it a few seconds and when it does dry its super strong

It works fast.
I replaced the rubber weather stripping on the bottom of my garage door and on one end the of the rubber strip I could see daylight due to uneven cement. So I cut a thin strip of the leftover rubber strip to add to that area and it worked great. I only had to apply the glue and press the added piece of rubber on to the stripping for 45 seconds and it made a strong bond. My only mistake was not wearing gloves while working with the black glue. Even after scrubbing my hands I still have black on one fingernail. So learn from my mistake and wear gloves.
