Omg! Best paints I have ever worked with. I still can't quite believe that they are really mine. The sale price was amazing and they got here super quick. The colours in this set are such fun! I could not help myself, had to do a small sea horse right away. The colours are fun, bright and a little goes a looooooong way! They blend beautifulky. They are gorgeously translucent and luminous. I am blown away by the quality. I do like my Windsor & Newtons, but these Schmincke paints are heads and tails above.

Was buying canvas from Micheals. For the small standard sizes the cost is comparable but custom sizes don't exist. I bought some 1 x 2 boards and this roll of canvas and love it. I add a layer of gesso but I am not an expert so maybe it isn't needed. Roll came as described, and once I stretched it, can't see any difference from pre-stretched frames except for the milling of the wood. As far as canvas goes, I am happy with it and will buy again.

For the price you need to buy a roll. A liitle coarse for my taste, not a smooth canvas but nothing a couple coats of primer won't fix. Considering what canvas costs this is a great deal. Make my own frames and this stuff holds up to good hard stretch.

The pattern on this project is perfect for a wedding or anniversary. I have not completed the project yet, but I have had no issues with the clarity of symbols or the adhesive; which can be an issue on some of the various brands of this type of project.

Awesome results! I painted inexpensive ceiling fan glass shades to match new, more expensive Italian blown glass pendant lights. I applied 3 coats with a flat brush and result was a very rich tone, a close match to the blown glass. Much superior to paint from local craft store that I experimented with.

It's beautiful. My one and only complaint is that I fell short on 2 colors. I was able to make similar colors work.

Love it! You can cut any size canvas you want to!

Good surface treatment however this is an experiment in that heat is present and I'm not sure if it will affect the lacquer.
