Worked Geat on my overhead, lift up cabinets in camper. Watch the quick video.
The media could not be loaded. I was tired of having to hold up my camper cabinet doors. These worked great. I put one on each cabinet.Directions were bad, almost funny actually with the English translation, but they are not hard to install if you are even a little mechanical.Great value for the price. I'd have gladly paid 2-3 times what I did for the convenience I gained from these. Don't worry about the comments on quality, they are good. All I have read on these shocks state state they are made to install the shock up with the rod down.

Works fine if used indoor or not exposed to water/harsh environment. Will rust.
Bought for my aluminum Vexus AVX2080 bass boat. Have been installed for a 4 months on the smaller lids. The ones used for the livewell started to show rust. The shock body and rod showed very small corrosion. The clip on the 10mm ball cap fitting corroded and broke apart. The mounts and screw corroded also. The others not used for the livewell are fine so far. However, the screws are really weak. Only tighten until a little pass snug or get better screws. Recommend spending more money for stainless steel struts, fittings, and mounts if you suspect any corrosion. Do it right the first time or do it twice like me.

These are a great deal if your buying them for cabinets that open upwards. They may work well for cabinets, but not for toy box lids.. The instructions are terrible but at they make it clear that these are designed for cabinets and even says cabinets in instructions and only shows how to mount for cabinets. I finally got these mounted on a toy box but like many other brands, they dont soft close.. they do slow the decent until they get to about 30 degrees, and then slams shut with no resistance after that.The mounting hardware screws included are extremely cheap quality and all the screws that I used stripped when putting them in. Additionally, after installation, when I went to take it apart for the return, the plastic broke when i pulled it off the metal ball mount on the lid.Reccommend keep looking. I took a chance on these even tho they had zero reviews due to the price and now I regret it. At least they are returnable.

Was good quality just didn't work for my purposes.

Easy to install. Instructions were pretty clear. Make sure you have a metric ruler on hand. Functions great. Can’t beat the price. Well worth it.
