Can always count on Wagner
This is the first time I have used this particular brand. The seed is always clean and I love the little handle on the bags. The bags are rugged too. There isn't much I don't like at all about Wagner, but it is more expensive for me. The prices fluctuate a lot with even seeds. It is hard to feed our friendly feathered friends. This brand is always clean, and fresh. I normally use the Eastern Blend, but I have lots of sparrows and smaller birds that are year round, and the weather is changing being warmer rather than our normal Freezing ridged weather. So the some of the birds that normally would have left are still here. I know my birds like this seed because a lot of the seed is in many of the Blends, I also see the birds that eat them. This blend may change depending on the birds and winter weather. I'm trying to get more bird houses for those that stay all winter long. I sure would have to hate to stay out in blizzards, squalls, snow and ice storms. So i try to do all I can to help them out. I enjoy seeing them, but feel so bad for them in this cold weather that we have. We aren't the only ones that feel the cold winter affects, imagine trying to find food as a bird? I have a heart for all animals and I do something about it that is why my home seems to be the community home for animals and birds and that is ok because what would we do without the Beautiful Birds?

Good quality bird seed, attracts birds in short time
I have used this seed for years. I live in the Atlanta area and this seed draws dozens of birds from the trees within a few days. My oldest daughter and I are avid bird watchers and she sent me a bird feeder with camera as a housewarming gift when I recently moved. I filled it with this seed, and within 24-48 hours Cardinals, house finch, chickadees, vireos, catbirds et al came calling on my woodsy 3rd floor patio balcony. It was in the low 20s and they were chowing down on this seed. I laid out cut-up fruit and nuts on the patio railing for the Jays. I have an adorable squirrel who calls on me daily. He sits at the end of a branch directly across from my patio. I throw him walnuts and other goodies. He likes for me to sit there and keep him company while he sits on his branch 10 ft from me enjoying his treats. đ„°đż When they're not napping, my two nearly 18-year-old cats are glued to the windows and patio door watching the daily "Bird Show" - Cat TV! Try this brand bird seed for your region and you should see good results!

Empty dish
This large bag doesn't last very long, all the animals seem to want to eat this stuff. I'm guessing it tastes good and the birds look healthy.

Feathered Friends Approved: Be Patient
When I first bought this bird food package, I was skeptical because no birds were showing up. I almost returned it, thinking it wasn't right food for the birds in my area. But then I decided to give it a chance. I purchased it in August 2023, and it took eight months before I finally started seeing birds. It's been almost two months now since they've been visiting the feeder regularly. I have small red birds, ordinary grey ones, and even a pair of doves that comes daily. The lesson here is to be patient; it takes time for the birds to feel comfortable enough to come to your feeder. They seem to observe first and then give it a try. So, patience pays off; they will come. Now, I have around eight different birds that visit daily, and some love the seeds so much that they visit my feeder 2-3 times a day and they even rest on the feeder after they eat. I try to renew their seeds twice a week. Itâs so funny and adorable to watch them.
