Very interesting, easy to read, and each subject was covered within a few paragraphs, yet factual and entertaining.

An extremely interesting & informative book, the illustrations can be quirky, gruesome but accurate & some a little amusing. The history around the discoveries is really fascinating & insightful & some of the timelines are surprising. Overall a fantastic addition to any home library.

It's a very pretty book to have, with a classical hard cover, and golden page edges. The whole series is a brilliant one to have. Great overview of the history of medicine, without being dry or difficult to read.

Bought as gift. She liked it.
