Burpee 'Sunny Boy' Hybrid, Yellow Beefsteak Slicing Tomato, 30 Non-GMO Seeds

Last year's BushSteak tomatoes were huge, uniform, all red and beefy, on compact plants. The seeds I bought from this vendor produced plants that vary from fairly compact to sprawling, with fruits that vary from tiny to small. They may be F2 or later descendants from the hybrid BushSteaks, but they are not the real deal. The 2019 tomato in my hand is small - note the green shoulders. The Tomatoes in the bush are the real BushSteaks from 2018. Very unhappy with this vendor.

If I recall the shipping was exhaustive. However, you should see my pride & joy's, now. I don't always follow directions. I did at beginning & got frustrated. They weren't getting enough sun. So I snuck them outside. As soon as they sprouted I planted them outside. I've created monster tomatoes, from only 4 seeds! They're gorgeous and thriving beautifully. I only feed my tomatoes with Miracle-gro. Nothing else! Every 7-10days. It's a judgment call. Blooming insane, etc, 7 days!

I am trying to grow indoor tomatoes through winter. Only planted 2 but they both germinated in record time and are growing very well.

Packet didn't contain the full 30 seeds as advertised. I have grown this tomato for several years and it taste great and looks great for a market.

There was only 18 seeds in the package. The description said there was suppose to be 40. I was very disappointed.

Very few seeds in the envelope and germination was poor.
