My First Kenmore Washer and Dryer

This was the last product I needed to purchase for the My First Kenmore Kitchen set. I am very pleased with this product & my grandbabies are really enjoying the set. The only thing I am displeased with was the price. Ever since they have decided to close most of the Sears stores, you cannot find these products, & when you do, it is at a price many cannot afford. This product sells anywhere from $89 to $99! Other than that, I would recommend this product & the whole My First Kenmore Kitchen & Washer/Dryer set to anyone with young children. They will play with it for hours & really put their imaginations to wonderful use!!!!

My granddaughter is 5 years old. This was the main thing she asked Santa for. It is so cute and she loves it.

I have searched and searched for that perfect toy for the girls in my family. I wanted one that was highly educational, practical, and relatively quiet. My search is over, because Kenmore has knocked it out of the park with this one!Giving a girl her first washer and dryer (I hope someone else gets them the matching pink and purple "My First" Kenmore Ironing Board and Iron for the complete set!) is an important milestone in a young girl's life. This toy is very educational; it's important for girls to learn young that they will have certain duties as they grow up: doing the laundry, making dinner, walking around the house barefoot so as to not make so much noise, being pregnant and not complaining about it, cleaning up after their messy husband and children, and keeping a clean, happy home. This "my first" washer and dryer helps little girls to practice laundry so they too can achieve the ultimate womanly accomplishment: domestic success! This toy is also practical, which is so rare in toys. The most practical thing is the color, it's pink! This will immediately repel boys and will help the young lady in your life lucky enough to receive the washer and dryer realize that doing laundry is her job, and she shouldn't bother her husband with such trivial tasks.Let's face it, girls shouldn't be bothered with learning things like math (unless it's adding up her money to stay under her grocery budget!) or how to use tools, do yard work, or even how to do basic, easy household repairs like replacing light bulbs, turning off the water to a leaky faucet, or patching small holes in the wall. We wouldn't want those baby soft hands of hers to become ugly and calloused from hard labor!This washer and dryer is also very quiet, only making noise when the timer goes off to let you know that the laundry is done. It's perfect to help little girls learn that women should be seen and not heard, unless it is to call their family dinner.
